I needed a Card to send to someone,
to let them know that they are though of today!
Here are the Cards!
I used 2 different inks for the greetings!
Close Up of the Card on the Right!
I stamped the greeting in Mossy Meadow!
Close Up of the Card on the Left!
I used the Soft Suede Ink for this greeting!
Here is how I stamped the inside of both Cards!
Just letting them know they are thought of, today and always!
HERE ARE THE STOCK AND MEASURES:
Mossy Meadow- card base, 8.5″ x 5.5″ scored @ 4.25″ folded in half on the score
Very Vanilla- inside panel. 4″ x 5.25″
scrap to punch out the greeting label
Soft Suede- strip across front, .50″ x 4.25″
Cherry Cobbler- scrap to punch out the greeting label mat
I don’t remember the name of this DSP. I know it is from Stampin’Up! I held onto
this DSP, for the gingham look! I also loved those tomatoes!
The tomatoes and gingham are printed on opposite sides of the paper!
The piece of DSP measured 4″ x 6″. I cut the DSP in half and then layered the tomato
print side, over the gingham print.
I believe the DSP ‘green’ color was to match the retired, ‘Always Artichoke‘!
It now matches the ‘Mossy Meadow‘ (a darker version of Always Artichoke!)
Lovely You- greeting (now available in the NEW Catalog!)
Tasteful Touches- inside sentiment and design (now available in the NEW Catalog!)
Mossy Meadow- inside sentiments, one card’s greeting
Soft Suede- greeting on other card, designs on inside of both cards
Decorative Label Punch- retired, but loved! for the greeting label and the mat
I punched the mat, cut the label in half, the adhered to the ends of the greeting label
and voila’, a mat! (I had to trim the top and bottom points off the mat)
Festive Farmhouse Cotton Twine in Cherry Cobbler- bow
Here are the Cards, again!
I think more of these need to be sent out,
during the COVID-19 ‘stay-in-place’ limitations.
Even though we here in NC are in Phase 2 of the re-openings,
The governor here has also put more limitations,
on that Phase, than what is allowed elsewhere.
ON ANOTHER NOTE:
I was thinking that ‘Cabin Fever’ may also be another kind of
spark, that has lit a crazy fire, in the rioters and looters.
Do NOT get me Wrong here…
I do believe we all have a right to protest
an injustice, like what happened to Mr George Floyd…
but, we do not have the right to destroy
what is not ours, to destroy.
What does rioting, looting and burning,
have to do with protesting a wrong?
2 Wrongs do not make it right,
they are both WRONG.
And this is not to be made political blame, either.
One has nothing to do with the other.
I do not care who is President,
we need to support whoever holds that Office.
The biggest support you can give…PRAYER.
So Folks, pray for ALL our leaders,
heads of Government, locally and nationally.
After all, we are commanded by God to do so…so do it!
America needs prayer right now.
Until the next Post…Blessings and Prayers for you ALL!
