Hello All!
Today’s Card is the first of 2 Easter Cards, made in Wednesday’s Class!
It is a Fancy Fold!
I CASEd this card from Dawn Griffith!
Dawn’s Card is with the Ladybug Stamp Set
I decided to make mine an Easter Card!
Here is the Card!
I love this bunny!
Here is the first, angle-cut card, side open!
Here is the Card, with both sides opened!
Love how this turned out! Except for the spot on lower left!
I learned that you must not use Alcohol Markers on the cover…it bleeds through!
Mind you, that is only the front rock colored!
I left it that way to show the Ladies what NOT to do!
I will punch out a little flower and adhere to that spot to cover it up!
There are many components to this card!
Lots of die-cutting for this card!
For one or two cards…not bad, but for 12! It was a lot of die-cutting!
HERE ARE THE STOCK AND MEASURES:
CARDSTOCK:
Pool Party- card base, 8.5″ x 5.5″ score @ 4.25″
another piece, 4.50″ x 5.50″ of Pool Party score @ .50″
Whisper White- inside panel, 4″ x 5.25″
3″ x 3″ Whisper White cardstock to cut out all the scallop circles-8 per card!
a larger piece, about 3″ x 4″ to cut out the stitched square for the scallop edges!
You will cut off about .50″ on the long sides of the scallop rectangle, for the edges
of the front flap.
scrap for cutting greeting banner- .50″ x 2.5″
Optional Layer…4″ x 5.25″ for the back of the Card (I used a piece of Pool Party!)

STAMPIN’ WRITE MARKERS:

(I colored the rock in Stampin’ Blend Light Smoky Slate. You can see the bleed through)
Pineapple Punch, Old Olive, Smoky Slate, Mango Melody for the rest of the coloring
STAMPIN’ BLENDS:
Light Daffodil Delight, Light Pumpkin Pie, Light Smoky Slate, Light Old Olive

Light Petal Pink- bunny’s ears, nose, and buttons on coat
Light Pool Party- bunny’s coat
TOOLS:
Banner Triple Punch- to flag greeting banner
Layering Circles Dies- a circle and scallop circle, nested, to make the 8 scallop frames!
Stitched Rectangle Dies- cut out a square from the largest rectangle, cut off
.50″ from each long side of that square, to make your scallop edge for front card flap
TO ASSEMBLE:
The angled front flap is made from 4.5″ x 5.25″ score on the short side @ .50″
from the top edge of the unscored side, measure in 2″ and make a small pencil mark
do the same on the opposite bottom side.
On the long side (5.50″) make a pencil mark @ 2.75″
Lay the card on your paper-cutter, using the 2″ pencil mark and the 2.75″ pencil mark.
Line them up with the cutter and cut off the corner piece. (a diagonal cut)
Do the same with the other side.
You will have your angled flap, for the card front.
Run a piece of Tear & Tape down the scored side of that angled flap piece
to adhere to the card.
Face the Card Base backwards to flap piece. (the flap will be adhered to the back)
The Card base is now all together.
Adhere the scalloped pieces made from the Stitched Scallop Rectangle,
(the 2 pieces cut off the rectangle) to the underside of the front flap,
snip to fit, off those ends.
Time to cut the circle holes:
On the front, flap piece place the circle die (far enough from the angle cut, pointed edge,
you will be cutting the scallop frame to go around the opening!) Run through the
Big Shot/Cuttlebug, or what ever machine you use.
Adhere the DSP to the second page and then close the card with flap over the DSP,
using a smaller circle die, place into the flap circle, with a pencil,
draw a circle on the DSP.
Run through the Big Shot to cut out that circle piece!
Close the card, with the DSP side, using the same smaller circle die,
place into the last cut circle hole, with a pencil make a circle. onto the
Whisper White piece now. Open up the Card to expose only the Whisper White.
Stamp your bunny, centered, into the penciled circle. Erase the pencil circle mark.
Stamp your daffodils and rocks onto the card. Stamp the inside sentiment.
Color the daffodils and rocks on the card front with the Stampin’ Wright Markers.
Color the inside daffodils and rocks with the Stampin’ Blends.
Run the Whisper White piece, with the 2 Layering Dies to make scallop Frames (8)
Adhere the Whisper White, scallop frame circles, to die-cut holes, to frame. et Voila’ !
Here is the Card, again!
I love how this card turned out!
I will do this Fancy Fold again!
Until the next Post…Blessings and Bunny kisses to you ALL!
