Cacti!

Here is the Challenge!

I only have one stamp with a cactus…from a Meercat Stamp Set!

I went with it!

 

Here is my Card!

I had to add the iguana lizard! He is cute!

 

Here is the inside of the Card!

I masked off half the stamp sentiment…

Once to stamp the greeting,

and second, to stamp the inside sentiment!

They are both on the same stamp…

…but I decided to make it serve a dual purpose!

Isn’t that meercat just too cute?

 

HERE IS THE LIST OF STOCK USED AND THE MEASUREMENTS:

CARDSTOCK:

Mossy Meadow- card base, 8.5″ x 5.5″ score @ 4.25″ fold in half on the scored line

Whisper White- inside panel, 4″ x 5.25″ front tag made using 2 different Dies! Cut the right side wavy first and then line up the stitch marks, using the straight, stitched rectangle die. Begin with a 2.50″ x 3″ piece of scrap to die cut the tag!

DSP:

Garden Lane DSP- front piece, 3″ x 3″

INK:

Memento Tuxedo Black- all stamping

STAMPIN’ WRITE MARKER: water based coloring ink

Melon Mambo- cacti flowers

STAMPIN’BLENDS: alcohol based coloring inks

Light and Dark Granny Apple Green- the cacti

Light and Dark Mossy Meadow- the little iguana

Light and Dark Crumb Cake- ground under cacti and coloring the meercat and the ground under him!

Dark Smoky Slate- meercat eyes

TOOLS:

Big Shot- die-cutting machine

Stitched Seasons Dies- wavy edge on tag

Rectangle Stitched Dies-  to die cut the rest of the tag
