Another Bee Card for AYSI219 and TGIFC252…!

Hello Everyone!

Today’s Card is for

A Sketch Challenge

AND

A Product Challenge!

This looked to much like the Bee Hive from the

Honey Bee Stamp Set, I had to go with it!

 

Our Second Challenger!

The Challenge is to use the Lilypad DSP

or The Golden Honey Specialty DSP

from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog!

 

Here is my Card!

I have a lot of this Golden Honey Specialty DSP to use up!

I end up ordering this DSP on every order I make!!

I used the Crushed Curry Stampin’ Write Marker for the stripes on the body!

 

HERE ARE THE STOCK AND MEASURES:

CARDSTOCK:

Whisper White Thick-  card base, 8.5″ x 5.5″ score @ 4.25″ fold in hslf on the score

Whisper White Regular- scrap for bee and greeting label

Basic Black- honeycomb

Gold Foil Sheet- 2 leftover Gold Foil honeycombs from previous die-cutting!

DSP:

Golden Honey Specialty DSP- 

hive piece, 2.50″ x 3″     1 strip,  .50″ x 4″      other strip,  .50″ x 2.50″

STAMP SETS:

Honey Bees- bees and greeting

Dovecraft’s- ‘Bee Happy’- inside sentiment

INK:

Memento Tuxedo Black- all stamping

STAMPIN’ WRITE MARKER:

Crushed Curry- to color strips on bee bodies!

TOOLS:

Big Shot- die cutting machine

Detailed Bees Dies- hive, honeycomb, bee

Classic Label Punch- greeting banner

  2. i don’t think it’s possible to have too many bee cards! Love this one. The honeycomb looks great in black. I like the way you’ve cleverly cut the bee DSP so that you got almost a full bee in the most visible position. Thanks for joining us at As You See It this week.
