Ally Oop, Oop…Dinosaurs!

Hello Friends!

I have 4 Cards to show you today!

I had some Dinosaur DSP I needed to use, but I didn’t

purchase the Stamp Set! Soooo…I strolled to Hobby Lobby,

I found these cute Dinosaur puffy stickers to use, instead!

Here are the Cards!

Aren’t they Cute?

Here are the backs of the Cards!

Kept them simple…for signing and adding that personal note!

Here are the Cards singularly!

Card #1

Gorgeous Grape Cardstock!

Card #2

Old Olive Cardstock!

Card #3

Terracotta Tile Cardstock!

Card #4

Pretty Peacock Cardstock!

All Card bases, 4.25″ x 8″ score @ 1.25″, 2.5″, 5.5″, and 5.75″

I took a 5.5″ x 8.5″ piece of cardstock (normal A2 size) I cut down to 4.25″ x 8″

Now score all the scores on the 8″ side (landscape)

The piece cut from the 8″ side, cut down to 5.5″ (this is the bridge piece)

Cut DSP- 4 pcs. 1″ x 4″ (or just 2 pcs and use Neutral cardstock for the 2 inside panels.)

Cut 1 piece of cardstock 1″ x 5.25″ (for the bridge piece)

I used 2 DSP pcs and 2 stamped Whisper White pcs. for the 4 front side panels

Cut 2 panels, 2.75″ x 4″ (center panels for front and back of card.)

Tropical Chic- leaves on 2 Whisper White front panels, prints at base of palm tree

Beach Happy- the palm tree on the front panel

Picture Perfect Birthday- back panel sentiment

Old Olive, Soft Suede- palm tree

Crumb Cake- prints at base of palm tree

Terracotta Tile- sentiment on back, to match cardstock

Pretty Peacock- sentiment on back, to match cardstock

Old Olive- sentiment on back, to match cardstock

Pacific Point- sentiment on back of Gorgeous Grape Cardstock

Here are the Cards, again!

I still have a few pieces of DSP left over from the pack,

I will have to go buy more dinosaurs!

I probably will make regular A2 Cards

from the scraps and leftover 6″ x 6″ pcs.

When a new Catalog or Mini Catalog is ready to come out, being Demonstrators, we get to pre-order DSP, ribbon, and elements ahead of time. I  usually do not buy what I am not sure of…so other demonstrators have “shares” they offer for a price. I usually order the ‘DSP’ only shares to see, in person, the DSP, before I buy. It also will dictate wether I buy more items from the ‘Suite’. The Dinosaur DSP and stamp set, just wasn’t on my to get list.

I did buy the share, and the Dinosaur DSP was in it. I get a pack of 2 pcs., 6″ x 6″ of each page of the DSP. I had to figure out how to use this up! I do have some young nephews now, so I will now be using these up too! BTW, girls like dinosaurs too!

I did make 2 each of these Cards for a total of 16 cards! I’m set for awhile!

Use the bridge Card measurements to make other kinds of cards! It is a real different fold and it does fit into out Medium size envelopes too! Just the same size as an A2 card! Have Fun! Experiment! You’ll be Glad you DID!!!!!

Until the next Post…Blessings and Dinosaur Roawr’s to you ALL!

Christmas Pines and Great Tidings!

Hello All!

Here are 2 Christmas Cards for Today!

I found these 2 bases, cleaning the Craft Room!

The inside was complete, but not the card front.

I pulled out the retired Christmas Pines Stamp Set and finished the card!

Here is the Card!

I have some Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock leftover!

I pulled it out to make a mat for the card front!

Here is the inside of the Card!

I stamped the inside quite awhile ago!

The second stamping of the pines was done in the Lemon Lime Twist Ink!

I do not have the ink pad anymore…that is why I used it as a mat on the front!

Garden Green- card base, 8.5″ x 5.5″ score @ 4.25″ fold in half on the score line

Lemon Lime Twist- front and inside mats, 4″ x 5.25″

Whisper White- front and inside panels, 3.75″ x 5″

Warm, Beachy Birthday Wishes for TSOT440!

Hello Everyone!

I believe I am back…I’m doing the best I can for now.

I am fighting this cold good!

I am going to bed real early and getting good sleep!

While cleaning my Craft Room, I found some pieces that were

leftover from a card kit from the

Stamp & Scrap Expo I went to with my friend, last June 2019!

The theme for the Card was from TSOT440!

Try Stamping (or not) On Tuesday #440

Here is the Challenge!

TSOT 440

You have the choice of doing either or both!

I did both!

Here is my Card!

I used the Sketch and the ‘WET’ is the ocean scene!

The sketch didn’t really give a place for the greeting, so I made a circle

to mimic the sun, on the upper right hand corner?

Here is the simple inside!

I didn’t have any leftover scraps to use to do the inside!

Bermuda Bay- card base, 8.5″ x 5.5″ scored @ 4.25″ fold in half on the score

1 5/8″ Circle mat for greeting

Whisper White- front and inside panels, 4″ x 5.25″

scrap for punching out the circle mat under DSP circle and scallop circle

Bazzill’s textured cardstock (leftover from the kit) front panel, 3.50″ x 4.50″

Beach Happy- greeting

Cake Soirée- inside sentiment

Bermuda Bay- greeting and inside sentiment

leftover from the beachy kit (a square, I punched the circle from!)

1 3/4″ Circle Punch- DSP circle (off set for a square edge, under the bow)

2″ circle Punch- off set, Whisper White circle, for DSP mat

1 5/8″ Circle Punch- mat under greeting

1 1/8″ Scallop Circle Punch- greeting circle

Pool Party Satin Ribbon- bow

Here is the Card again!

I don’t know about you…but I long for the beach!

Until the next Post…Blessings and Warm Weather Love to you ALL!

Ready for Warmer Weather?

Hello All!

Are you ready for warmer weather? I am!

We were teased with balmy weather that ended about a week ago.

It has been so cold. My energy level is on a big halt!

I know it is cold every where, but truth be told…so spoiled with

the great weather we had…I told Mr Hubster that we should have moved further South.

But from what I understand…Florida is cold too! Oh well.

I will be getting back on here starting tomorrow. I have finished with

all rescheduled Dr.’s Office visits (annual checkups and stuff).

Still have a mammogram for next month!

The new shelf unit is in the craft room and I have rearranged the room!

Oh my, I was dead on with all the measurements!

The unit fits, snugly, but it fits!

Chat later!

I woke up yesterday with ANOTHER COLD!

I feel miserable! I just got over a cold, just before Christmas!

I told Mr. Hubster that I am going to wear a mask the next time I go to the Dr.’s Office.

The last one kicked my butt, this is bothering me now!

Oh well, it is what it is! This too, shall pass!

Until the next Post…Blessings and Health to you ALL!
