Cozy Winter Cottage for HSS331 and TCC127…!

Hello Everyone!

Enjoying the weather…but it’s is still Winter…it will get colder soon!

It’s the last day of January…we still have February to go through now!

And then we can really look for Spring!

 

Today’s Challengers are both Photo Inspirations!

One is a Magical Winter and the other is a Cozy Cabin!

 

First up is…Hand Stamped Sentiments #331  (HSS331)

I chose the snowflakes from these photos!

I made them blue to be icier!

 

Second Challenge up…The Card Concept #127 (TCC127)

I chose the Cozy Cabin and the colors of gray here!

I went with the pink butterflies to match the color challenge!

Here is my Card!

I used 2nd generation stamping on the little butterflies and

3rd generation stamping on the leaf sprig!

 The larger butterfly is 1st generation stamping!

 

Here is the finished inside of the Card!

For the butterflies and the leaf sprigs, I used 3rd generation stamping.

*Generation stamping is how many times you stamp off.

1st generation is straight off the stamp,

2nd generation means it was stamped off once,

3rd generation means it was stamped off twice before

stamped onto the Card!

Very Vanilla- card base, 8.5″ x 5.5″ score @ 4.25″ fold in half on the score

2″ x 2″ square to die cut the greeting circle

Vellum Sheet- 2.5″ x 2.5″ square to die cut circle

Flirty Flamingo- left panel, 1″ x 4.5″

DSP:

Noble Peacock Specialty DSP- .75″ x 4″ on top of Flirty Flamingo panel

large butterfly was fussy cut and added with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals!

They look close to Flirty Flamingo, I went with them!

Hello All!

Today’s Card is also one of the ‘found’ items, while cleaning the Craft Room!

There are three card bases, just like last Monday’s Nautical card bases!

These card bases are left over, from a Paper Pumpkin Kit, from a long time ago!

 I must have made up cards with Cardstock and didn’t use these!

 

Here is my Card!

The Card base is pre-printed with the black and white stripes!

I used the gold foil pieces from the front cut out honeycomb, in this honeycomb!

 

HERE ARE THE STOCK AND MEASURES:

CARDSTOCK:

Paper Pumpkin- pre-printed card base.

You can use Whisper White cardstock and a piece of striped DSP. I do have some leftover DSP from last year’s Occasion’s Catalog, that is black and white striped. Michael’s also carries a single sheet of black and white stripe!

Crushed Curry- beehive

Whisper White- greeting banner, .50″ x 2.50″   scrap to stamp and die-cut bees

Gold Foil Sheet- die-cut honeycomb on card front

DSP:

Golden Honey Specialty DSP- left panel, 2″ x 5.25″

STAMP SETS:

Honey Bee- hive and bees

Party With Cake- retired, inside sentiment

Stampedous’ Honeycomb Wishes- greeting and inside honeycomb

INKS:

Crushed Curry- beehive, inside honeycomb (second generation stamping)

Memento Tuxedo Black- greeting, inside sentiment, all bees

TOOLS:

Big Shot- die-cutting machine

Detailed Bees Dies- hive, bees, Gold Foil honeycomb on card front

Using the punched out honeycomb hexagons, I adhered randomly on the front

and inside the card.

ACCESSORIES:

Gold and Clear- Wink of Stella- Gold,to color in the bees stripes

Clear, to color in their wings (you can’t see the shimmer in their wings in the photographs, but they are beautiful in person!

Hello All!

Don’t Panic! We have 11 mos. till Christmas!

Today’s Card is another of 2 Card bases I found half finished!

The inside was done, but not the card front!

I pulled out the Hearts Come Home Stamp Set!

After much thought, I re-stamped the inside and made this inside, all new!

 

HERE ARE THE STOCK AND MEASURES:

CARDSTOCK:

Garden Green- base, 8.5″ x 5.5″ @ 4.25″ fold in half on the score line

Whisper White- front and inside panels, 4″ x 5.25″

DSP:

Truth be told, I do not remember where this DSP came from…it is that old!

But…I like it! The DSP measure 3.75″ x 5″

Merry Christmas To ALL- greeting

Hearts Come Home- inside sentiment, Santa/sleigh, houses, trees, snow dots inside

INK:

Memento Tuxedo Black- all stamping

Masculine Birthday for JAI480…!

Hello Everyone!

Another set of card bases I found cleaning out the Craft Room!

These were from an older Paper Pumpkin Kit, from way back!

I have another set of bases to use up too…later!

I used these bases for a Color Challenge from…

I pulled out ALL the ink pads and settled on:

 Lovely Lipstick, Blueberry Bushel, Daffodil Delight

card bases are left over Paper Pumpkin bases…you could use:

Whisper White- 8.8″ x 5.5″ scored @ 4.25″ fold in half on the score line

greeting banner, another leftover cardstock piece from a project kit!

I die-cut 3 labels from the one piece I had found, cleaning the Craft Room!

Blueberry Bushel- cut another label to make a mat for the greeting label

I die cut it out and then snipped in half length wise and adhered to the back of the greeting label!

Lovely Lipstick- for the ship’s wheel

STAMP SETS:

Sailing Home- lighthouse on front, sailboat inside

Perennial Birthday- greeting and inside sentiment

INK:

Blueberry Bushel- all stamping
