Last Christmas Card for 2019!

Hello Friends!

This will be the last Christmas Card of this year!

This one and yesterday’s cards will go in the box for next year!

Here is the Card!

100_6935

These Cards are again from the Christmas Club set. The original design was

the angel from the Light & Peace Stamp Set from the Holiday Catalog!

I don’t own the stamp set and decided to use what I had!

I used the Wrapped In Plaid DSP, the Pine Tree Punch,

the old Blizzard Die for the 2 Snowflakes AND the retired

Snowflake Sentiments Stamp Set!!

Here is the inside of the Card!

100_6936

Mimicked the front, again!

Used a smaller snowflake from the Blizzard Die, and

added a Gold Glimmer Enamel Dot to the center of the snowflake!

Here are both Cards!

100_6937

From the Christmas Club Kit I received…all parts are pre-cut.

All I have to do is stamp and piece together.

Since, I changed it up…I punched out the trees and

die-cut the snowflakes for my cards!

HERE ARE THE STOCK AND MEASURES TO REPLICATE!

Are you Christmas Carded Out, Yet?

Hello All!

Just a jump in to show a few cards I have been working on.

I joined a Christmas Card Club…I get supplies for 8 Cards each month.

Many times, I do not have the stamp set the woman is showcasing.

No problem, I will improvise another stamp set,

or totally change up the style or Occasion of the card!

As I have done and will show you over the next 4 days!

Here is Card #1

100_6932

I totally made these my own.

There will be no pics of her cards’… mine are way off from her cards!

How I did the inside!

100_6933

Mimicked the front!

I think it is the angle, but the White rectangle looks crooked, it isn’t!

A shot of 2 cards made!

100_6934

With the second Card, I had cut a larger rectangle with a larger

Stitched Rectangle Dies…less Gold Shimmer Paper showed.

I didn’t realize it till I glued it to the Shimmer paper. Oh well,

at least we know the same person won’t get both cards!!!!!

I do like more Glimmer showing!

STOCK AND MEASURES:

CARDSTOCK:

Bermuda Bay- card base, 8.5″ x 5.5″ score @ 4.25″ fold in half on the score

Gold Glimmer Paper- front and inside mats, 3 3/8″ x 4 6/8″

Very Vanilla- 3 1/8″ x 4 3/8″ (the size to show more Glimmer Paper!)

This is very Elegant in itself!

Until the next Post…Blessings to you ALL!

A Pause in the Action for Family…

Hello Friends, Stampers, and Peepers!

As I said in yesterday’s Post…I will be taking some time off for

the Christmas Rush…change of plans.

My Sister-in-Law Anita, who I’ve been sending all the Get Well cards…

…Anita has been put on Hospice Care. She is deteriorating rapidly.

I’ve been on a Major rush to get all done.

I have got all my Christmas Cards addressed and mailed,

all the gifts wrapped and boxed.

When I get word, I will be off to RI for a funeral.

I hate that it is at this time of year.

But there is never a really good time at all, is there?

I must say, I have been blessed in my life to have known this wonderful woman.

Her smile bathed you in love! She always had a twinkle in her eyes when she smiled!

Anita was a good Mother to her boys. They had 3 Sons.

2 of the Boys gave her each a Grandson, one just recently as last month.

We have pics of her getting to hold him, and cooing the Grandmother Love.

Anita said she was sad that she wouldn’t be able

to watch her Grand-sons grow up.

I ask all of you for prayers for my Brother, Jim and her 3 sons,

Christopher, Richard and Steven.

Anita’s parents lived next door them.

Anita’s Dad is taking care of Anita’s Mother, she has Alzheimer’s.

Still in the early phase of it.

She has memories, but a lot of bouts of memory loss, too.

Pray for them too…Gene and Anne.

Thank you for allowing me to ask these prayer requests from you all.

Also, I pray the Lord to bless you all this Holiday Season.

Until the next Post…Blessings and God’s Love to you ALL!

Christmas Snowmen Cheer for SSC219!

Hello Everyone!

I saw this Challenge and I had to do it!

I know I said it was the last Challenge for the month, but….!

I wasn’t sure what kind of card it would be,

but I knew the DSP, I would use!

I used the ‘Let It Snow Specialty DSP’ for this card!

I decided to make it another Booklet Card!

I wanted to make a more youth oriented card…I have

several family Members that have young kids.

Most of them are at the age of feeling textures!

I used this DSP because it is textured with a glitter to highlight the snow!

The Challenger for this Card is

ON ANOTHER NOTE:

I hope you enjoyed these Booklet Cards!

When I first saw these made, I was determined to make them too!

As you read this Post…I am addressing all my Cards I have made this year!

I know I have over 120 to mail out!

I lost count, as to how many Cards I made…but I know it’s over 110, at last count!

I am going to take a break here from Blogging…

Mr. Hubster and I have been down with real bad colds.

We both have been ill.

I started about November 20th, 3 days later, Mr. Hubster got it!

Needless to say, we are keeping Kleenex in business!

So we are nursing ourselves back to feeling better…it’s been long.

I want to wish you ALL a Blessed and Joyous Season.

Remember, the Reason for the Season, is the Reason for Everyday!

Let Christ come into your heart,

and find the real Peace and Joy, people always wish to you!

It doesn’t mean Bad will never happen…it’s just that you have

the Lord with you, to get through the bad times and also

the Lord to Rejoice with, in the good times!

We are to praise him in the Good and in the Bad!

The Sacrifice of Praise…Praising when you feel you can’t or don’t

want to Praise…Joy comes from Praising the Lord, through it ALL!

Until the next Post…Blessings and Heartfelt Love to you ALL!

I appreciate you peeking in and consider it an Honor!
