Oh Holy Night…

I hope you all can get to your Church’s Christmas Eve Service!

It is a great reminder as to what the Season is all about.

Jesus is the reason for the season, not Santa.

After all, it is the Birth of THE Savior that we celebrate!

Just like you and I have Birthdays we still celebrate,

some of us more than others, we celebrate Jesus’ Birthday.

No one really knows the day he was born…

…or the time of year…

…I’ve heard maybe in July, but the Roman Catholic Church changed

the time to December, to give the cold winter month, something to celebrate!

It’s fine…because, I celebrate Jesus everyday!

I want to wish you ALL a very

Merry Christmas!

Until the next Post…Blessings and the Hope of Christmas, to you ALL!

A Masculine Birthday!

Hello All!

I am back with the 3 Card from the Christmas Card Kit Club, I belong to!

I decided to use all the elements and make a Masculine Birthday Card, instead!

I used the Soft Sea Foam panel and greeting label, and the Oval Frame from the kit.

I used the Rustic Retreat Stamp Set and colored in with the Stampin’ Blends!

I did add the sponged in sun to the picture (it isn’t on the stamp set)

the Christmas Card…I decided to make it a masculine Birthday Card, instead!

I was sent some pics and video of my SIL. Her Sons brought their sons to visit her. She was smiling and pretty alert for the visit. It was beautiful!

These Posts you are getting are all being set up ahead of time for now.

Last Christmas Card for 2019!

Hello Friends!

This will be the last Christmas Card of this year!

This one and yesterday’s cards will go in the box for next year!

Here is the Card!

These Cards are again from the Christmas Club set. The original design was

the angel from the Light & Peace Stamp Set from the Holiday Catalog!

I don’t own the stamp set and decided to use what I had!

I used the Wrapped In Plaid DSP, the Pine Tree Punch,

the old Blizzard Die for the 2 Snowflakes AND the retired

Snowflake Sentiments Stamp Set!!

Here is the inside of the Card!

Mimicked the front, again!

Used a smaller snowflake from the Blizzard Die, and

added a Gold Glimmer Enamel Dot to the center of the snowflake!

Here are both Cards!

From the Christmas Club Kit I received…all parts are pre-cut.

All I have to do is stamp and piece together.

Since, I changed it up…I punched out the trees and

die-cut the snowflakes for my cards!

Poppy Parade- base, 4.25″ x 11″ score @ 5.5″ fold in half on the score

Whisper White- front and inside panels

Gold Foil Paper- snowflakes

Wrapped In Plaid- scrap pieces to punch out the trees

Snowflake Sentiments- greeting and inside sentiment

Night of Navy- greeting and inside sentiment

Big Shot- die cutting machine

Stitched Nested Labels- front and inside panels

Pine Tree Punch- front and inside trees

Blizzard Die- 3 gold snowflakes

Gold Glimmer Enamel Dots- center of inside snowflake on tree

(to make it look like a star!)

Here is the Card and inside, again!

Enjoy your Christmas! Blessings to you ALL!

Are you Christmas Carded Out, Yet?

Hello All!

Just a jump in to show a few cards I have been working on.

I joined a Christmas Card Club…I get supplies for 8 Cards each month.

Many times, I do not have the stamp set the woman is showcasing.

No problem, I will improvise another stamp set,

or totally change up the style or Occasion of the card!

As I have done and will show you over the next 4 days!

Here is Card #1

I totally made these my own.

There will be no pics of her cards’… mine are way off from her cards!

How I did the inside!

Mimicked the front!

I think it is the angle, but the White rectangle looks crooked, it isn’t!

A shot of 2 cards made!

With the second Card, I had cut a larger rectangle with a larger

Stitched Rectangle Dies…less Gold Shimmer Paper showed.

I didn’t realize it till I glued it to the Shimmer paper. Oh well,

at least we know the same person won’t get both cards!!!!!

I do like more Glimmer showing!

Bermuda Bay- card base, 8.5″ x 5.5″ score @ 4.25″ fold in half on the score

Gold Glimmer Paper- front and inside mats, 3 3/8″ x 4 6/8″

Very Vanilla- 3 1/8″ x 4 3/8″ (the size to show more Glimmer Paper!)

Christmas Gleaming- all stamping

Bermuda Bay- greeting, inside sentiment, flourish above ornament

Delicata Golden Glitz Ink- ornament

Metallic Edge Ribbon, Very Vanilla- bow on front

Here is the Card Again!

This is very Elegant in itself!

Until the next Post…Blessings to you ALL!
