And Just Like That, Winter…for IB97…!

Hello Everyone!

Bundle up! It’s cold clear across the whole Country now!

I am typing this in on Friday for going to Post Today, Tuesday.

I spent yesterday (Thursday) doing all my laundry.

The news this am is predicting a Freeze Warning for us this evening.

I stripped my bed and put on the Mattress Pad, and had another load of

bedding to be washed. As the Washer was going, I went into the Craft Room,

and saw this Challenge!!! How appropriate!

Here is the Challenge from

Inspired By # 97  (IB97)

IB 97

I love the old Blankets!

The blankets you get today are not as good. I find them flimsy.

I know, I have a velvety like blanket, I put on my bed today.

I was inspired to make my Card look like a pile of the older,

woolen-type blankets, folded and stacked like the Inspiration Photo!

Here is my Card!

100_6822

I have a lot of these Buffalo Check stamped papers I made up and set aside.

I cut one of those Dunkin’ Donuts Straws (for the large Iced Coffees) into

1 1/2″ pieces. I rolled the fringed Check pieces around the straw, secured with

a strip of Tear & Tape. Another strip added to adhere to the card panel!

But first, I ran those pieces through the Big Shot with the Subtle 3D Impressions Folder.

The Card Front was run through the Big Shot with the Cable Knit Impressions Folder!

Here is the inside of the Card!

100_6823

The green Buffalo Check piece, is also from that stack of

pre stamped Cardstock pieces, that I set aside.
