Here is my Card!

I went in a different direction here!

Again I used fussy-cut roses from the DSP.

I also used a left over strip of DSP, over the edge of the Lace Trim Die Cut!

A different Label Die for the greeting too!

Those Roses are popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals!

Christmas Joy…!

Today’s Card is the second in my

Christmastime is Here Series!

I was inspired by fellow demonstrator Debbie Henderson’s

Monthly Christmas Club.

Here is Debbie’s Cards!

All my Cards will be a bit similar, but different too…I did not purchase

the Stamp Set or Dies that go with this Suite.

I bought only the DSP-Ribbon-and Gold Glimmer Enamel Dots!

I decided to use a Gold Foil, Stitched Label Dies to back the fussy cut Roses!

Love it!!!!

 

Here is how I finished the inside!

The Delicata Gold Glitz Ink is beautiful!

(that little fussy cut rose…it is covering an ink smear!)

Mistakes just make us get more creative!

I went ahead and added the same little rose to the other card too!

I liked the prettiness it brought to the inside too!

Christmastime is Here Suite…!

Hello All!

For the next six days, I will be showcasing cards from this GORGEOUS Suite!

I joined another Demonstrator’s Christmas Club…Debbie Henderson!

Here is the picture of the Cards we were to make!

Debbie sent all the fixin’s to make the Cards!

I didn’t buy the Stamp Set or Dies, so my Cards came out differently.

Instead, I fussy-cut the flowers from the DSP for my Cards!

I also ended up making 2 extra Cards from the supplies!

Today is my first card! (Warning, none of my cards look like Debbie’s!)

I made 2 of each of the Cards I am showing all of you!

This Card, I just changed up the position of the greeting.

I fussy-cut a small flower from this DSP and adhered it to the Greeting!

One thing I learned from Debbie, that Early Espresso really pops this DSP!

Sweet Blooms for a Birthday!

Hello Everyone!

Thank you for peeking back here for Today’s Card!

I saw the pretty flowers in this DSP and decided they needed to be

used differently! I fussy-cut 4 bunches!

Here is my Card!

I used Colored Rhinestones in the center of the bunches and one on the “C”

Holiday Rhinestones Basic Jewels in Pumpkin Pie!

I am building up my stash,

I sent many cards out to friends and family…Yes, I do use my cards!

I do make 2 at a time, so when the stash gets too full,

then they get packaged and sold, or given away to my Sisters!

I just did a give away, to lower the stash, I am building it up again!

Get Well Wishes in a Fancy Fold Card!

Hi All!

Another play day in the Craft Room!

I decided to try another kind of fancy fold card!

Here it what I made!

I used Stampin’ Write Markers to color the different items here, on the stamp!

after coloring, you ‘huff’ on the stamp (it re-dampens the ink) and the stamp!

I had one light spot, I am going to re-color it in with a Stampin’ Write Marker!

I tried the Blender Pen, I see it didn’t work that well!

It’s funny how the camera picks up what your eyes don’t see!

Monochromatic is beautiful!

Green means ‘Life”!

HERE ARE THE STOCK AND MEASURES:

CARDSTOCK:

Garden Green- base, 4.25″ x 11″ score @ 5.5″ fold, in half, on the score

cut off 3″ from the card front (leave 2.5″ of flap for the front)

front piece-  (turn the cut off piece you cut off- 3″ x 4.25″)!

Whisper White- front panel, 2.5″ x 3.75″             inside panel, 4″ x 5.25″

DSP:

Garden Lane DSP- left side of front, 2.25″ x 4″      mat, 2.75″ x 4″

STAMP SETS:

Teeny Tiny Wishes- retired, (I will not get rid of this set!) for the greeting, I stamped the greeting, 3 times across the front top!

Gifts from the Garden- retired, pots with plants

Dandelion Wishes- inside sentiment and inside dandelion!

INKS:

Soft Sea Foam- inside dandelion

Mossy Meadow- greeting and inside sentiment

STAMPIN’ WRITE MARKERS:

Soft Sea Foam- plants

Mossy Meadow- pots

So Saffron- the yellow flowers

A Bird Ballad Thank you!

Hello Folks!

Playing in the Craft Room again!

I came across a notecard and envelope I had received

from my fellow pal, Jeanie Stark. It was from

a pack of several Card I purchased from Jeanie.

I lost the Post she had for assembling the cards and this notecard.

I decided to ‘wing’ it from memory! (Yipes, that’ll hurt!)

As it goes, this is what I came up with!

When card is closed, you can see the strip, that is inside, on the bottom!

Basic Black- mat, 1.5″ x 3.75″  scrap piece about 2″ x 3″ to die cut “Thank You”

Old Olive- 1.25″ x 3.5″ mat, under greeting

Bird Ballad- front piece, 3″ x 4.75″    inside strip,   .75″ x 5″

STAMP SET:

Well Said- inside sentiment

TOOLS:

Big Shot- die cutting machine

Well Written Dies- ‘thanks’ & ‘you’ (trimmed the ‘s’ off the word ‘thanks’)

Fancy-Fold Birthday Card!

Hello All!

I was playing in the Craft Room…!

I have a drawer that has scraps, that I save when cutting out items for Cards!

Every now and then, I go to that drawer and get pieces to make Cards.

Today’s Card is one I made with the scraps, from that drawer!

Here is my Card!

The scraps on this card…the bird circle, the 2 different green leaves,

and the impressed background, on the front!

I kept it a bit simple!

 

THE STOCK AND MEASURES:

CARDSTOCK:

Garden Green- card base, 8.5″ x 5.5″ scored @ 4.25″

Cut off, from the front, 2.25″ (it will leave 2″ flap for the front)

Cut a front panel, 3″ x 4″          scrap was used to punch a mat for the greeting

scrap piece to punch a leaf (mine was in the drawer from an earlier card!)

Pear Pizzazz- scrap piece to punch the leaf (mine was from the drawer, punched at an earlier time)

Whisper White- inside panel, 4″ x 5.25″

front panel- 2.75″ x  3.75″           scrap piece to punch out greeting

STAMP SETS:

Best Birds- retired, greeting

Birthday Banners- retired, both inside sentiments

Lovely Lattice- retired SAB, the fancy line between the inside sentiments

INKS:

Garden Green- greeting and inside sentiments

DSP:

Bird Ballad- circle from the drawer!

TOOLS:

Big Shot- die cutting machine

Layering Circle Dies- circle was cut from this die set

Leaf Punch- the leaves from the drawer, were punched with this punch

Solid Baker’s Twine in White- bow on front
