Hello All!
I was playing in the Craft Room…!
I have a drawer that has scraps, that I save when cutting out items for Cards!
Every now and then, I go to that drawer and get pieces to make Cards.
Today’s Card is one I made with the scraps, from that drawer!
Here is my Card!
The scraps on this card…the bird circle, the 2 different green leaves,
and the impressed background, on the front!
Here is how the inside looks!
I kept it a bit simple!
THE STOCK AND MEASURES:
CARDSTOCK:
Garden Green- card base, 8.5″ x 5.5″ scored @ 4.25″
Cut off, from the front, 2.25″ (it will leave 2″ flap for the front)
Cut a front panel, 3″ x 4″ scrap was used to punch a mat for the greeting
scrap piece to punch a leaf (mine was in the drawer from an earlier card!)
Pear Pizzazz- scrap piece to punch the leaf (mine was from the drawer, punched at an earlier time)
Whisper White- inside panel, 4″ x 5.25″
front panel- 2.75″ x 3.75″ scrap piece to punch out greeting
STAMP SETS:
Best Birds- retired, greeting
Birthday Banners- retired, both inside sentiments
Lovely Lattice- retired SAB, the fancy line between the inside sentiments
INKS:
Garden Green- greeting and inside sentiments
DSP:
Bird Ballad- circle from the drawer!
TOOLS:
Big Shot- die cutting machine
Layering Circle Dies- circle was cut from this die set
Leaf Punch- the leaves from the drawer, were punched with this punch
ACCESSORIES:
Happiness Blooms- enamel dots, on front, in Call Me Clover
Solid Baker’s Twine in White- bow on front
Here is the Card once again!
If you have a scrap drawer…start making cards from them!
