I have a Christmas card today!
I again, combined 2 Challenges. a sketch challenge and a color challenge!
Here they are!
First the Sketch Challenge from
Freshly Made Sketches #411 (FMS411)
The Color Challenge from
Hand Stamped Sentiments #327 (HSS327)
I do like the Color Combo!
Here is my take on the 2 Challenges!
I let the DSP ‘Star’ on this card! So Cute!
Here is the inside of the Card!
I wanted to use the same 3 colors here too!
HERE ARE THE STOCK AND MEASURES:
Whisper White Thick- 8.5″ x 5.5″ score @ 4.25″ fold in half on the score
Whisper White Regular- greeting’s circle scrap piece trimmed for greeting, flagged
Shaded Spruce- mat for DSP, 1.75″ x 4.25″ scrap piece for greeting mat, also flagged
Let It Snow Specialty DSP- panel across the front, 1.5″ x 4″
There is glitter on the DSP. These Snow-people have a glitter on them!
Teeny Tiny Wishes- retired, greeting (used a Real Red Stampin’ Write Marker, and just colored the words, Merry Christmas, huffed on it and stamped!)
Snowflake Sentiments- retired, inside sentiment
Spirited Snowmen- holly & berries, snow flurries, inside
Real Red- greeting and inside sentiment
Memento Tuxedo Black- holly & berries
Coastal Cabana- inside snowflakes
Light Shaded Spruce- holly on card front
Light Real Red- holly berries on card front
STAMPIN’ WRITE MARKERS:
Real Red- to color only the ‘Merry Christmas’ on the stamp.
color in the berries inside of the card (so it wouldn’t bleed through to the back)
Shaded Spruce- to color holly on the inside of the card (same as above)
Big Shot- die cutting machine
Stitched Shapes Dies- circle under greeting
Softly Falling Embossing Folder (EF)- impressed impression of ‘snow’ falling on the card front
Shimmering Crystal Effects- used as glue to hold…
Ice Stampin’ Glitter- sprinkled onto the Shimmering Crystal Effects.
The Crystal Effects acts as glue to hold the Ice Stampin’ Glitter!
Here is the Card, once again!
(I made it a little bigger, so you can see the ‘Ice’ rimmed circle!)
When I first saw this DSP, I was not totally in love with it. But after cutting it for storage.
I did get to see all of the DSP, and I got to like it! Weird, I know, but true!
Until the next Post…Blessings and ‘Snow-People’ love to you ALL!
