Hello All!
I saw a card that another Demonstrator had done on her website.
Her name is Robbie Rubala.
She had done a different kind of ‘z-fold’ card!
I decided to try the fun fold too!
I printed out Robbie’s instructions.
While cutting the card base (which was easier than it sounded!)
I was cutting out the DSP per Robbie’s instructions.
I did one Robbie’s way and the other, I did a Whisper White instead of DSP.
Here are the Cards!
The Card on the right is Robbie’s-except I matted all the panels.
The Card on the left is my version of the Card!
Here is a Close-up of Robbie’s Version
Robbie’s version, the left side of the card, the DSP is all one piece.
I found that it made the back-fold of the card, stiff and bulky.
The matted panels were my doing, on my Card.
Here is a Close-up of my version!
I cut the DSP the same, but I cut it down to 2 panels. Also, the
Whisper White panel on the right side, gives more space for
the sentiment and stamping! The matted panels were the same idea!
I am going to try and make these cards again, but without the matted panels.
Just a panel on the right side of the card. I found that when I tried to stand
the cards up, they wanted to tip backwards, hence the Leaves Trinkets, I
adhered to the front of the cards. It needed a counter-weight to stand on it’s own!
I think I need to see if it is the card or the added panels.
That small cut is only 1.25″ wide. I may try to make it 1.5″ wide.
