ON ANOTHER NOTE:

Last Thursday, our family lost a favorite Aunt. Aunt Joan went to be with the Lord.

She was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer, 22-23 days, before she passed away. So glad

she did not have to suffer long at all. A very active woman, we were all shocked. But she

is now with her husband, Uncle Rush, who predeceased her, many years ago. She always

said he was the love of her life! She was a Great Mother and Aunt to us too! Aunt Joan

was married to my Dad’s Brother.

Back in 1971, we were burned out of our home and Uncle Rush and Aunt Joan, took our

family into their home. They had 6 kids and my Mom and Dad had 7 kids! We stayed

there for about a week or two. Uncle Rush and Aunt Joan made us feel like their family

too! To alleviate the understandable craziness and school attendance, we then were

separated and lived with friends, and relatives, till my Parents could get back on their

feet.  To this day, I call my BFF’s Mother…Mom#2!

When my parents were able to buy a new home, we all were happy to be back together

again! We had no furniture, but we even slept on the floors, we were just happy to be

together again! Thanks to such great love from my parents and my Aunt and Uncle, we

survived! Aunt Joan, you will be missed. I sent a different Sympathy Card to the Family.

Until the next Post…Blessings and Much Love to you ALL!

Let me know what you think!
