ON ANOTHER NOTE:

We have survived the worst of Hurricane Dorian!

While waiting for Hurricane Dorian…I did laundry!

I also spent time in the Craft Room, between loads, and worked!

We were fine yesterday…later in the evening is when it picked up!

We went to bed about 11pm and were awaken with the winds howling, AT 5AM!

We got up, I quickly got dressed and ran out to the kitchen to make 2 pots of coffee!

I wanted to get them made and into the carafe, before we lost power!

While pulling water from the fridge for the coffee maker, the power went out,

then it came back on, I finished filling the pitcher and poured into the brewer,

Bam, we lost it again, then it came back on!

Coffee brewed, and I set up to make the second pot, drew the water, again,

we lost power! It came back on! Finished drawing the water and poured into

the readied coffee pot, and the power flickered again!

That second pot brewed right into itself, it is a carafe! It’s a Bunn!

Hey, the most important thing, was that morning coffee!!!!

The power kept going out and then back on several more times.

The TV was going nuts, because it’s all internet!

The power then seemed to stay on..so I cooked us some eggs for breakfast,

Mr. Hubster toasted the bread…we sat down and had breakfast!

I washed the dishes and then prepped ONE Hummingbird feeder.

I prepped the heaviest one, a glass jar feeder, my Sister Mary got me for

Sister’s Week! I felt it would handle the winds better.

We have seen one of the four hummingbirds that were left, feeding yesterday!

When this storm finally clears out of here, I’ll fill the others for them!

If the birds are still around!

I am hearing and seeing people out in my subdivision in card and their golf carts!

We are still getting bursts of high winds!

I’m staying in and getting a few things done!

Let me know what you think!
