Hello Friends!
Thank you for peeking in for today’s Card.
Today’s Card is for the Just Add Ink #472 Sketch Challenge! (JAI472)
Here is the Challenge!
I almost didn’t do this one! But I had to try…
Here is my take on the sketch!
The look of the sketch reminded me of mountains.
Also how majestic and strong they look!
I pulled out my Rooted In Nature Stamp Set and it fit the scene!
I took many of the scraps that were left from cutting the ‘mountains’ and put them together, mosaic like…here is the inside!
I used a non-SU stamp for this ‘love’ word!

ON ANOTHER NOTE:
My SIL 3rd tumor has grown substantially. The Dr. in Boston told her not to take her last chemo treatment. He suggested another med, which would prevent blood vessel growth, and is usually tolerated well. She asked her Dr. if she would be alive for the birth of a grandson, due in November. The Dr. said, he believed she would be.The Dr. thinks this has turned into glioblastoma, only a biopsy would tell, The reason for doing so would be if my SIL wanted to do a clinical trial. The Dr. is not pushing for a trial.
My Brother is just devastated. I ask for prayers for him and my SIL. I pray the Lord’s touch on the whole family. They have 3 son’s and this is the second grandson that is due.
My SIL parents live next door to them and my SIL mother has Alzheimer’s. My SIL father is the sole care giver now for her. So that is why I pray for the WHOLE family.
I would appreciate prayers. Thank you.
Until the next Post…Blessings and much Love to you ALL!
Lovely card, all the elements go together nicely. I like how the papers go together but are also quite different. I like how you have decorated inside as well. Chantell Just Add Ink
I’m glad you persevered with our sketch challenge, as your card turned out really great. Great choice of leafy elements. So sorry to hear about your SIL’s tumour. Such a difficult time for her and you all.
All the best, Di
Yay that you gave my sketch a try – you nailed it! I’m sorry to read of your SIL’s cancer, it’s such as nasty disease, as is Alzheimer’s. I will keep your family in my thoughts.
