Daisy Love with TJ…!

Hello Friends!

My Friend TJ came over to make cards on Saturday!

TJ was perusing Pinterest and found some cards she wanted to make!

I printed them out and we went to town!

Here are the Cards we made!

This Card was originally done in the Balmy Blue Gingham,

we used the Highland Heather and Daffodil Delight Gingham DSPQ

The top flap of the card, had about 1″ cut off the bottom of the Card,

to reveal the greeting, which was also to be part of the inside.

We decided to change it up!

That is what CASEing (Copy And Share Everything) is all about!

Take a design and make it your own!

We also used a different Greeting!

Another 2 Cards…

The Card on the right, you should recognize…it is the Card I had posted for Saturday!

We made another and TJ also wanted a Green version!

Granny Apple Green and Lemon Lime Twist!

It worked!

The last two…

We both saw this while looking on Pinterest, and we replicated this Card!

A great way to use up those retired Gingham Papers!

Funny but true story…

The daisy card that spurred TJ to come over…we never got to it!

As TJ said…next time! Oh! we have a few more to make too!

Until the next Post…Blessings and Daisy Love to you ALL!

Hello All!

Welcome Back!

I have been MIA, I apologize.

My excuse…

My Grand Girls were in town for 2 weeks and we were busy!

On to Today’s Card…

I made a Card for two different Challengers.

I usually will combine Challengers if they are both

due to close or end, on the same day.

I try to combine a Sketch Challenge,

with a Color or Inspirational, or Technique Challenge!

Today’s Card is a combination of a Color and Sketch Challenge!

The First up is the Color Challenger,

Love these colors!

Here is the Card, again!

I have a friend coming over today to make some daisy cards…maybe one of these!!!

My beautiful Grand Girls were in town for 2 weeks and we went to many places for day trips, to discover other places in this great state of North Carolina!

We did rest in between each jaunt, but that meant laundry getting done too!

They carry backpacks with their clothing, so room is limited.

We do a lot of laundry, when they are here, so they can have clean clothing to wear!

They left Thursday and the flight from here was delayed, due to storms.

The girls missed their connecting flights from Charlotte.

They had to spend the night at the Airport, on Stand By,

for every flight from Charlotte to Providence.

Needless to say, I was a wreck, as they were too.

Finally at 3:45pm yesterday, they got on a flight to RI.

They are home, safe and sound.

All I can say is Thanks and Praise to God for bringing them

through and getting them home, safely!

Truth be told, this has always been my fear for them.

But I think  the Lord showed me their strength and resilience!

Until the next Post…Blessings and Love to you ALL!

Versailles Iris’s for AYSI206…!

Ooh la la! Everyone!

Today’s Card is for an Inspiration Photo Challenge!

A Theme of

Shades of Purple!

Speed Stamping!

Get your supplies ready, set your timer, go!

I prepped, set the timer and off I went!

The Card took me 10 minutes!!!!

Here is the Challenge!

AYSI 206-shades of purple

Here is my Card!

If I poked out the little cut outs…it would have taken me over the 10 min. mark!!!

I didn’t want to cheat, so I showed as is!

Here is the inside of the Card!

I took 2 pcs. of Whisper White cardstock cut 4″ x 5.25″ and laid the side by side.

I stamped them both at the same time…!

On a pre-cut scrap of Whisper White I stamped the greeting.

With a scrap of Gorgeous Grape cardstock I die cut the fancy label.

I decided last minute to die cut the label! It needed a strong color under the greeting!

The Purple Posy cardstock is 8.5″ x 5.5″ score @ 4.25″ and folded in half on the score!

I had laid out, the ink pads of:

Gorgeous Grape- greeting, inside sentiment, iris’s

Highland Heather- inside of iris flowers, script words

Soft Sea Foam- leaves spray and iris stems

Using the Stamp Sets:

Very Versailles- the words, and leaf spray

Inspiring Iris- the iris’s

Perennial Birthday- greeting and inside sentiment

for the iris centers I used a touch of the Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Marker!

Here is the Card again!

Just made it!

Until the next Post…Blessings and Purple Love to you ALL!
