Ooh la la! Everyone!
Today’s Card is for an Inspiration Photo Challenge!
A Theme of
Shades of Purple!
AND…
Speed Stamping!
Get your supplies ready, set your timer, go!
I prepped, set the timer and off I went!
The Card took me 10 minutes!!!!
Here is the Challenge!
Here is my Card!
If I poked out the little cut outs…it would have taken me over the 10 min. mark!!!
I didn’t want to cheat, so I showed as is!
Here is the inside of the Card!
I took 2 pcs. of Whisper White cardstock cut 4″ x 5.25″ and laid the side by side.
I stamped them both at the same time…!
On a pre-cut scrap of Whisper White I stamped the greeting.
With a scrap of Gorgeous Grape cardstock I die cut the fancy label.
I decided last minute to die cut the label! It needed a strong color under the greeting!
The Purple Posy cardstock is 8.5″ x 5.5″ score @ 4.25″ and folded in half on the score!
I had laid out, the ink pads of:
Gorgeous Grape- greeting, inside sentiment, iris’s
Highland Heather- inside of iris flowers, script words
Soft Sea Foam- leaves spray and iris stems
Using the Stamp Sets:
Very Versailles- the words, and leaf spray
Inspiring Iris- the iris’s
Perennial Birthday- greeting and inside sentiment
for the iris centers I used a touch of the Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Write Marker!
Here is the Card again!
Just made it!
Until the next Post…Blessings and Purple Love to you ALL!
Pretty
Very Versailles makes a great background for those pretty irises. I don’t know about you but I feel the pressure of the clock ticking once I start this challenge! Thanks for playing along with us at As You See It again.
I think the saving factor is to prep everything and then start! However, there is that one small, so-called, quick change that will just mess things up! LOL!
I like your idea of using Very Versailles with the irises! It really works well. I know how you feel when that time gets running! I always make some second-eating mistake along the way that makes me all fumble fingered! Oh, well! Thanks for playing along with us at As You See It Challenges.
Right! Just like punching out those little pieces would have put me over! LOL!
Definitely a stunner! I am amazed you got this all done so quickly, you ARE a speedy stamper! Of course, having everything organized as you did definitely helps! I love the soft vintage feel to your card, this set is on my wish list for sure! Happy you shared this with us at AYSI!!!
Leanne, I did have all, lined up and ready to go…open ink pads, Stamps on block, etc.,. It was just a matter of putting it all on the Cardstock! Oh, I had the labels on scraps ready to run through my ‘electric Big Shot’! Cuts time almost in half!!!! I also hummed and hawed about the Very Versailles Stamp Set, I am so glad I got it! Go for it, you will not regret it! Also the Iris make for a quick card themselves too!
