Hello All!

Yes, Hello to you ALL!

I am sorry to be MIA…I am working on all the Graphic45 Card kits that I purchased at the Stamp And Scrapbook Expo I attended, with my friend Gisele, in Chantilly VA, last month, June 20-22! I am trying to still get back into my groove since being out of it for too long! Making the cards in between all my committed ‘other’ activities!

It is taking a little bit longer than I expected it to take. I first cut all the pieces and bagged by their months…it is harder to find the pieces once cut, but you have to cut all out first! I am only able to get about 2-3 cards (times 2) done each day.

I am almost finished! I have about 3 more cards to make…these should be easier, they are mostly from the December/January packets!

After they are done I will publish. Then…..I am going to make up cards from all the leftover pieces. I will have to match the pieces to cardstock! This should be interesting! The cards I am making from the kits are all 4.25″ x 6″…from the leftovers, I will make the regular A2 size cards (4.25″ x 5.5″).

I hope this finds you ALL well!

Blessings to you ALL, until the next Post!

Graphic45 Project for PCC343…!

Hello Everyone!

I have been working on a Project from Graphic45!

I took a Graphic 45 Cards for the year Class when I went to the

Stamp & Scrapbook Expo June 20-22!

You make cards for the year with an all inclusive kit!

I ended up buying a second Kit…

We only had time to make ONE card for the Class!

So I want to get these made up…it happens to coincide with

the Challenge from Paper Craft Crew’s #343!

Here is the Challenge!

Here is the instructions from the Kit!

The left booklet, has all the cards to be made, the right page is how you are

to cut up each of the 12 pages (each a month i.e., January, February, March…)

Here is a closer look at the page of cut up instructions!

The following are the Cards made so far…remember, I make 2 of each Card!

The following are close-ups of each Card!

Card #1

The insides of the Cards, you are on your own! I will stamp the insides later!

Card #1

An encouraging Card!

Card #2

This was the Card I made at the Class.

It used pieces from January, March and April pages!

(a little note, the woman next to me was an SU Demonstrator too!

She was at last years class, she said she sponged everything…so I followed suit!)

Card #3

This will be for my Kids!

Card #4

This will be for the Grand-daughters!

Card #5

This Card reminds me of my friend Dixie! A Teacher never retires!

Card #6

For the “Grand’s” on St. Patrick’s Day!!!!

I hope you enjoyed these Cards…

I will take pics of the Cards, when I complete each page!

Until the next Post…Blessings and Sending Love to you ALL!

I Survived…Part 2…!

Hello again!

This is the continuation of my Sister’s Week Trip to RI!

We went to the Christmas Tree Shop!

Oh, I miss that store!

I picked up a rug and a screen door for my Gazebo.

It’s the magnet closure screen door!

I am going to make a ‘bug free’ zone for myself!

I need to get to Lowe’s for the rolls of screening and the staple gun refills!

I also picked up a Bird Bath, I have a Cardinal that is bathing in a sagging

particle board shelf and I need to replace the wood and then set the bowl

onto it for a ‘Stylin’ bird bath!

I found the valences for the Master bedroom and also ‘beachy’

sheer curtains for the Master bath!

We then came home and exchanged our Sister’s gifts to each other!

Got several t-shirts and another hat! Some funny things and just enjoyed!

Michele brought in 2 quilts she is working on for her 2 daughters, just gorgeous!

Sunday, we went to Linda’s Grand-daughter’s engagement party.

We wore our new Sister’s Shirts and matching hats!

Visited, ate and then came back to Mary’s.

Linda had to leave to go home, she had to work on Monday and Tuesday.

We stayed in the ‘bug free’ zone that night.

Monday and Tuesday, we went shopping!

The 3 of us went to Wrentham Outlets in Wrentham, MA.

We hit a sale, 70% off all items in the store that day!

It was the weekend before the 4th of July!

Went to Chile’s for dinner and back to the  ‘bug free’ zone!

Wednesday, Linda joined us again after she got off work.

Back to the bug free zone!

Thursday, the fourth of July…we ate a good breakfast again.

The day turned out to be a hot day…90*F!

My joke, we hit RI for it’s week of Summer! LOL!

We actually had very warm weather while there,

Michele and I brought up the warmth from the South to RI!!

We Chillaxed and cooled off in Mary’s Grand-kids kiddy pool!

What a riot!

We all made ourselves fit it so we could cool our bodies!

It worked! We napped and then went to Mary’s Son, Erik’s

‘in-laws’ for food, we brought foods too!

We visited and ate, we all then piled into 2 pick-up trucks and drove to

Escobar’s Farm…every year Mr. Escobar hires the ‘Pyro’ crew to shoot off

fireworks! He has a large milk can chained out in front of his house,

the to collect donations, year round! The town helps to pay for this show!

It was fabulous! We then returned to the ‘in-laws’ farm and then we

drove back to Mary’s to the zone!

Friday was a day of laundry and packing for 3 of us.

Linda went home late that night, Michele and I packed our cars.

Wen al went to bed early, due to early rise time. 5:30am!

I got up and showered and dressed. I woke up Michele at 6am.

She showered and dressed and then we headed to Dunkin’ Donuts

for coffee and a breakfast wrap. Got coffee to go and hit the road.

We were with each other till CT.

Michele and I parted for our different routes.

I again hit awful traffic, again?

I didn’t get home till 11pm.

I’d call Mr. Hubster and let him know where I was in travel.

I waited till the next day to unload the car.

The time home here has been major, one thing after another!

The vacuum broke and also my iron! Also Mr. Hubster, didn’t grocery shop.

My time has been spent doing catch up around here!

Buying a new vacuum and iron, laundry, cleaning house…I am still not done!

For the first time since I got back…Friday night, the 12th, I got into my Craft room.

I am working on the Graphic45 Cards I started,   at the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo.

Remember, we only had time to make 1 card!

I spent all day just cutting out all the months and putting the pieces into

gallon size Zip lock bags! I did start a couple of cards.

This am Mr. Hubster and I are going to the Marina to check on our boat.

We haven’t used it in awhile and we need to check on it.

We are going to sell it.

Mr. Hubster can’t handle the boat, and I sure can’t either!

I may get back into the Craft room to work on more cards!

So stay tuned, I am just trying to get back into my groove again!

It seems like it is always something!

Again, I will survive!

I have survived Sister’s Week and now I will survive getting

back into some semblance of normalcy! I am still spent

from the trip, but I will persevere!

Just an FYI…I may have some of the days mixed up…totally from memory!

This side note is for the Sisters!!!!!!

Until the next Post…Blessings and Normalcy to you ALL!

I Survived!

Hello All!

Thanks for peeking in today…so sorry, no Card to show, today!

I just got back from the Annual Sister’s Week…!

Every year myself, and my three Sisters get together!

I have 2 sisters that live in RI. The third sister lives in WV, and I live in NC.

I drove up to RI on Wednesday, June 26th. It was a looong drive.

I left at 7:30am and didn’t arrive until 11pm that night!

I ran into unbelievable traffic…it seems like it was a traffic jam from VA to CT.

My sister Mary waited up for me!

We sat out on the back deck, in a screen house, also known as the ‘bug free’ zone!

We sat up and yakked till 4am…also we polished off a bottle of wine!

The next day, Thursday, we both slept in!

I called my kids and set up times to visit them on Friday.

Mary and I then went to the store to get some shopping done for the Sister’s Week.

Came home, put the stuff away and proceeded to the ‘Bug Free’ zone

for more glasses of wine! Went to bed early!

Friday, I picked up my daughter, Tracey and my grand-daughter, Shana.

Drove over to MA and picked up my other Grand-daughter, Lesley.

We went to a Restaurant in Portsmouth, RI for a great breakfast.

The four of us returned to my Daughter’s home and visited for a couple of hours.

I left them, my grand-daughter, Lesley was staying for a visit!

I then went to see my friend Betty, she lost her husband, Ken, about 4 1/2 mos. ago.

Betty’s husband Ken and Mr. Hubster were very good friends.

Mr. Hubster and Ken lived across the street from each other.

Both Ken and Mr. Hubster were previously married to others.

After Mr. Hubster and I were married, I met Ken.

Several mos. later I met his girl-friend Betty. We hit it off!

Ken and Betty were married in my house, when we lived in RI!

I spent a couple of hours with Betty. I wanted to check in with her.

She has many memories in her house and it is getting to her.

Her son and his wife are moving to FL.

Betty is selling her home and going with them.

They will be looking for a home with an ‘in-law’ apartment.

So sad and a helpless feeling for me. I wished her well and hugged her.

Told her to stay in touch.

I then, met up with my Son, Keith and his Fiancée, Mel.

Sat outside with them for a couple of hours to visit!

So happy to see the people I drove up early, to see.

It is now Friday night and the official start to Sister’s Week!

Bid them farewell and drove back to Mary’s house.

We waited for the arrival of Linda, she lives pretty much

around the corner from Mary! She was coming for the weekend!

Linda had to work Monday and Tuesday, she joined back up with us

on the 3rd of July for the rest of the Sister’s weekend!

While the 3 of us were in the ‘bug free’ zone, enjoying some wine and snacks…

The horn toots and Michele has arrived! She has a NEW car! She drove up

with the temp plates on her car! She has a Chevy Traverse!

We get her unloaded and then proceed back to the ‘bug free’ zone,

to chat and laugh and just revel in the company of my sisters!

Saturday’s Highlight, we went into Anthony’s Seafood and had our meals!

I was surprised I didn’t order the Fish and Chips…this time I had

RI Chowder (it’s brothy, not milky!) and Clam Cakes! YUM!

Back to Mary’s and the ‘zone’ for fellowship!

More to come…until the next Post…Blessings to you ALL!
