Hello ALL!
Today’s Card is for a Christmas In July Challenge from
TGIFC #221
I know the whole East Coast here is praying for relief from this heat!
High 90’s with Heat Indexes of 105-108*F…it’s hot!
I hope today’s card makes you feel cooler!
However, in December we will be wanting heat!
We are never content!
Here is my Christmas in July Card!
Love that little Girl!
This was at the tail end of my Graphic45 Kit,
from the class I took, back at the end of June!
The Card Kit was all inclusive, I did take some liberty to make these my own!
I added the Real Red Cardstock and the 3/8″ Cotton Ribbon, in Real Red too!
I stamped the sentiment inside!
The sentiment is from the retired stamp set called, Versatile Christmas!
ON ANOTHER NOTE…
I hope this day finds you all well and staying cool! It has been warm here too!. I have an Ecobee Thermostat, and when the weather is this hot, the demand for energy to cool, is great. So the electric Company, takes control of the Thermostat and sets it higher, to conserve energy. I have to admit this takes getting used to! It isn’t as cool as I’d like it, but I really don’t want to see energy blackouts either! So the truth to late cards here on my blog, is that it has been too hot to play in the Craft Room! I have swimnastics in the a.m. Monday-Friday…I get into the Craft room after that, but I can’t stay long. On Sat., it’s my only day to sleep in, and then it’s housecleaning day. Sunday, up early for church and then home to do Laundry. Ironing on Monday after Pool! The pool helps, but because it is hot, the water really isn’t refreshing, the sun makes it like bath water…when I get home, I take a cool shower to cool off! Next week it is supposed to have temps, mid to highs in the eighties and lows in the mid to high range too. 85*-89*F days, 75*-80*F evenings. I hope it is cooler, and soon, the heat is getting to me!
Until the next Post…Blessings and Cool Thoughts to you ALL!
This card is so awesome. I love the vintage feel and the girl is so sweet. She looks like Shirley Temple to me. Thanks for linking up with our Christmas in July challenge at TGIF. Smiles, Elizabeth
