Today’s Card is for another combination Challenge!
I combined a Stash Challenge and a Sketch Challenge!
Here are the Challengers!
First Up is the Stash Challenger
52 Christmas Card Throwdown #28 (52CCT28)
The Challenge-Use Ribbon from your Stash!
Boy, do I have a stash of Ribbon!
The Second up is for the layout, the Sketch Challenge!
the Paper Players #452 (PP452)
I totally saw the large Ribbons in this layout!
Here is my Card!
I used the 1.25″ Burlap, on top of that, the 1.25″ White Jute Ribbon,
and wrapped around those 2, the Braided Linen Trim. I made a
multi-looped bow and tied/attached it with the ends of the Braided Lined Ribbon!
This is a Great Masculine Christmas Card!
Mr. Hubster and I, have 2 single male friends that would love this Card!
One lives in RI and the other lives in Maine!
Here is how I completed the inside of the Card!
The friend in Maine, his home his all done with Deer designs!
HERE ARE THE STOCK AND MEASURES FOR THIS CARD!
Soft Suede- card base, 8.5″ x5.5″ scored @ 4.25″ fold in half on the score
scrap pieces of Soft Suede to die cut the Deer

1.25 White Jute Ribbon- 4.25″ long, then flagged the ends
Braided Ribbon Trim- 12″ long, wrapped around the layered ribbons and tied in a knot

Here’s a peek at the Card again!
I love how the card came together!
ON ANOTHER NOTE!
We have Deer that pass through our yard and sometimes stop to munch on some bushes. If Mr. Hubster or I spot one, we yell out “Oh Deer!” to let each other know that there is a deer in the yard! We love watching them! They are such graceful animals! They are one of the many Wildlife Critters we have in our yard! Sometimes it’s an Owl, lots of Cardinals, Robins, Wrens, Sparrows. We get the occasional squirrels. We have Hummingbird feeders out, we have 6 Hummers coming to them. We had a Raccoon that was getting into the Hummingbird feeder. Every morning it would be on the ground. I was afraid it may be a bear, yes, they are around too! I haven’t seen one yet, but I can live with that! My neighbor across the street had one, she took pics and showed me! So we put up night camera and yes it was the raccoon! So we moved the feeder away from the deck and problem solved! I now have 3 feeders out for the hummers! It’s funny, I buy sugar for the house, for the birds! We hardly use it! Over all it has been very interesting to see what will come into our yard! Can’t wait to see what’s next…
Until the next Post…Blessings and Oh Deer! to you ALL!
