Sending Well Wishes….!

Hello Everyone!

Yes, I am back!

Sorry to have been away, awhile…I have been busy here!

I had 3 sets of Mother’s Day Cards to address and get in the mail!

My Knitting group, my Stamp Class group, and Family!

They are done!

I also had to make Father’s Day Card packets for my Stamp Class for June!

I will be attending the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo in Chantilly, VA from June 20-22!

I needed to get my future projects prepped and ready,

since I won’t have much time when I return from the Trip!

For the Chantilly, VA Expo Show, I am in for a Card Swap!

I have to make 21 Cards to swap out 20 cards! (One is for Display)

Today’s Card is for said Swap!

I was perusing all my ‘blogland’ friends and found a card that I really liked!

I am CASEing a Card from Dawn Olchefske from DO Stamping!

Dawn’s Card was done in Night of Navy. I didn’t have enough

of the Night of Navy Gingham Ribbon, so I used Smoky Slate Gingham Ribbon

along with the Basic Gray Cardstock too!

Here is my Card!

100_6024

This is called “spotlight” technique!

I needed another Get Well Card for my stash!

I made the 21 for the show plus 3 more for my stash!

Dawn didn’t have a picture of the inside of her Card.

I made the inside my own!

Something For Mom…SIP197

Hello All!

Thank you for peeking in for today’s Card!

I appreciate your loyalty!

Today’s Card is for

Stamp Ink Paper #197

SIP-Challenge-197-Something-for-Mom-NEW-800-791x1024

I recapped Mother’s Day Cards yesterday and I went through my stash

to pick out Cards for all my friends and family and came up short!

So I went into my stash and found out I didn’t have enough DSP

to copy more ‘Class Cards’. I then called to place an order and well, sad to say,

the DSP has sold out…they won’t restock since the Occasions Catalog is soon

to be expired by June 3rd. So I took what I had and cut them in half.

(all my DSP, I pre-cut to 4″ x 6″, for storage!)

So I modeled the Card after my Class Card and just used

2 pieces of DSP for the card front!

Here’s the Card!

100_6019

It is a ‘little’ bit different…I didn’t use vellum leaves and added the dark leaves!

Here is the inside of the Card…similar to the Class Card!
