Today’s Card is for a Theme Challenge from
52 Christmas Card Throwdown #11 (52CCT11-19)
Here is the Challenge!
“Run, run, run as fast as you can.
You’ll never catch me, I’m the gingerbread man.
I ran from the baker and his wife too.
You’ll never catch me, not any of you.”
Here is my Card!
I had to add a Gingerbread Woman!
Sort of like, the Adam and Eve thing!!!
Truth be told…he looked lonely!
Here is the simple inside of the card!
This sentiment was large…I let it stand alone.
THE LIST OF ITEMS USED TO MAKE THIS CARD:
CARDSTOCK:
Whisper White Thick- card base, 8.5″ X5.5″ scored @ 4.25″ fold in half on the score
Whisper White- regular, scrap pieces for stamping the gingerbread cookies and their bows
Real Red- their hearts
Cherry Cobbler- for the stamped frame
STAMP SETS:
Buffalo Check- background stamp for the frame
Cookie-Cutter Christmas- gingerbread cookies, bows
Merry Christmas to All- greeting and inside sentiment
INK:
Garden Green- greeting, inside sentiment
Crumb Cake- female cookie
Soft Suede- male cookie
Memento Tuxedo Black- the background Buffalo Check for the frame
TOOLS:
Big Shot- die cutting machine
Rectangle Stitched Framelits– to cut out the frame from a larger stamped piece
Cookie Cutter Punch- to punch out the cookies, bows, and hearts
Here is the Card, once more!
Hmmm…first day of Spring and now I’m craving a Gingerbread Cookie!
Alas! I will wait till the Fall!
