Hello Everyone!
Welcome Back!
Today’s card is for a Masculine Birthday!
I used the Sketch Challenge from
Paper Craft Crew #326 (PCC326)
Here is the Sketch!
Since Valentine’s Day is over…I decided to do a masculine card!
Here is my Card!
Those smudges…it’s a stamp!
Here is the inside!
I stamped the smudges 4 times across the front and the same here, inside!
HERE ARE THE STOCK AND MEASURES FOR THE CARDMAKER:
CARDSTOCK:
Whisper White Thick- card base, 8.5″ x 5.5″ scored @ 4.25″ fold in half on the score
Whisper White Regular- some scrap pieces to stamp the car and greeting
Crushed Curry- mat for greeting
DSP:
Classic Garage DSP- larger piece, 3″ x 3.5″
smaller piece, 2″ x 2.5″
STAMP SETS:
Geared Up Garage- car, oil smudges, greeting
Itty Bitty Birthdays- inside sentiment
INKS:
Tranquil Tide- car
Gray Granite- grill and rims, oil smudges
Balmy Blue- head lights and windows
I used my Aqua Painter, filled with alcohol (instead of water) and used the inks from the lids of the ink pads to ‘paint’ the car. I use alcohol because it dries faster, less warping AND…I can use regular weight Whisper White!
TOOLS:
Tailored Tag Punch- greeting banner, I trimmed down the tag, to a size to fit below the car, on the card!
I fussy-cut the car.
ACCESSORIES:
Black Rhinestone Jewels- upper right hand corner of the DSP
Clear Epoxy Shapes- headlights!
Here is my Card again!
A Drive down Memory Lane…
When I was a young girl, in the 8th grade, in California…there was a teacher
at my school by the name of Mrs. Trejeo…she owned a Mustang.
The color of the car was that deep Metallic Green, where it almost looks Black!
Oh my!
I had dreams of owning a car like that!
It was so pretty.
All grown up…I have never did own a car like that!
And World didn’t end because of it too!
Funny, that car was all I thought of, while making this Card!
Until the next Post…Blessings and many runs down your Memory Lanes!
