The Games were on her mind for this Challenge!

 

As a New England Patriots Fan…I went for the Red, White, and Blue!

Yesterday’s Game,  the NE Patriots playing KC Chiefs…

this post is being typed on Sunday Night!

We all will know if the Patriots make it to the Superbowl or not!

Today’s Card

 is my ‘huddle’ in wool ‘Stadium Blankets’

and the inside is a wool scarf!

It is was cold in Kansas City for the game…22 degrees…Brrr!

 

Here is my Card!

White Card, Red and Blue Blankets…Pearls to represent snow flurries

and the gold stars for the Winner of Tonight’s Game!

Brady, Edelman. and Gronkowski!!!

 

Here is the inside of my Card!

I trimmed up a piece, off the ‘blanket’ leftover and folded it to look like a scarf!

the bottom is ‘fringed’ too!

Since it was in honor of the Patriots it is a masculine Birthday Card!

 

HERE ARE THE STOCK AND MEASURES FOR THE CARDMAKERS:

CARDSTOCK:

Whisper White Thick- card base, 8.5″ x 5.5″ scored @ 4.25″ fold in half on the score

Cherry Cobbler- red blanket, 2″ x 2.75″

Pacific Blue- blue blanket, 2″ x 2.75″

I stamped a piece of each of the cardstocks, 4″ x 5.5″,

with the Buffalo Check Background stamp, in Memento’s Tuxedo Black Ink

Then cut them each into 2 pieces measuring 2″ X 2.75″. I then used the retired Fringe

Scissors to fringe the ends. I used another 2″ x 2.75″ piece and cut it down to 1″ X 2.75″

and Fringe cut that end too, for the scarf.

STAMP SETS:

Winter Wishes- retired, greeting

Better Together- inside sentiment

Buffalo Check- background stamp for the ‘checks’ on the ‘blankets and scarf’

INKS:

Memento’s Tuxedo Black Ink- for the Buffalo Check

Night of Navy- greeting, inside sentiment

TOOLS:

Fringe Scissors- retired, to fringe the ends of the ‘blankets and the scarf’

ACCESSORIES:

All Is Bright Paper Clips- although retired, recently, from the Holiday Catalog

I used the ‘star’ clip!

Star Sequins from my stash, I don’t remember where I got them

Basic Jewels-Pearls- scattered on Card and inside the star sequins

to represent snow!

 

Here is my Card again!

And the Winner is…The Pats are going to the Superbowl!!!!!

WhooHoo! What a nail-biter game! They won in Overtime!

The Superbowl will be a nail-biter too! I psyching myself up for that one!
