Paper Pumpkin and Paper Pumpkin Alternative Cards!

Hello Folks!

Thank you for peeking in today!

Stampin’Up! has a monthly kit you can purchase,

it is called Paper Pumpkin!

For $19.95 a month you can get a kit delivered to you!

What is in them, you ask?

It can be anything pertaining to cards and home décor!

They also run Seasonally…right now is Fall.

They are mailed out by the 10th of each month…usually I get

mine on the 15th or the 16th of the month!

September’s Kit was all pertaining to Halloween…

October’s Kit was Fall themed…

November’s kit will be Christmas themed!

Today I want to show you what I received in October’s Kit!

There were the makings for 8 Cards!

4 each of 2 Card designs!

These kits have everything in them for you to

make these cards! The only thing you add is,

a Tape Runner, or adhesive of choice.

The only thing different about my Cards…I didn’t use

the stamp set, from the kit. I wanted to make these all

Happy Birthday Cards, for my sister, Michele.

Here is CARD # 1 from October’s Kit!

Everything on the card, and the card, are included.

Even the Mini Glue Dots, and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals!

I also used some Share What You Love Artisan Pearls for decoration!

(NOT INCLUDED in the kit)

The kit had Metallic Sequins…I used them for another project!

Here is the inside of the Card!

I also stamped a leaf, from the Painted Harvest Stamp Set!

The greeting is from the Birthday Blooms Stamp Set.

Here is CARD # 2, from the kit!

This Card is a Tri-Fold Card!

Here is a view of the opened first flap!

I added that piece of Fresh Fig Cardstock,

to the back of that laser cut feather design!

I liked the solid more than the Watercolor look!

(Just MY preference!)

Here is the inside of the Card!

Both the middle and the right side, I stamped!

The sentiment is from the Birthday Blooms Stamp Set, and

the leaves are from the Painted Harvest

Stamp Set, a 2 step stamp, for the leaves!

After I assembled the 8 cards…I had lots of leftover pieces!

So, I made 6 more Cards, of 2 designs!

Here is the First Card (I made 2 of these!)

I used Cajun Craze for the card base and the label behind the greeting!

I used the retired Artisan Label Punch, and then trimmed the sides off!

I cut down the oval with the retired, Large Oval Punch.

Here is where I used those Metallic Adhesive-Backed Sequins

that came with the kit!

Here is the inside of that Card!

I still had a couple of leaves leftover, so I cut them down and

used them on the inside!

Here is the second design I made…I made 4 of these Cards!

I used Night of Navy for the Card base.

I used Teeny Tiny Wishes for the greeting!

Everything else, came from the kit!

Even those Metallic Sequins!

Here is the inside of that Card!

I used the Cake Soirée Stamp Set, for the sentiment!

Yes, another piece of those left over flowers!

If you are interested in getting these kits…

shoot me a message, on my contact page OR

shoot me an e-mail:

or go to and there are many options

to choose from…

Monthly (it is the plan I do)

3 month plan, 6 month plan, or yearly plan!

Try it out! If you don’t care for it, you can cancel it!

Just do that before the 10th of the month.

Remember, they mailed all kits out on the 10th!

Soooo…you’ve missed this months kit,

but you can sign up for December’s Kit!

I hope you do sign up, I really don’t regret it!

Until the next Post…Blessings and Creative Love to you ALL!

Christmas Greetings for my Card Class!

Hello Everyone!

Thank you for peeking back for Today’s Card!

Today’s Card is the Card we made for my November Card Class.

Originally the Class was scheduled for Sept 5th, but I was returning from a trip up North on that day, so I postponed the Class to Sept 12th…well, as we all know Hurricane Florence had other plans, and that Class was cancelled, due to the impending Storm!

The following month, October 3rd…it was just too soon after the devastation from Hurricane Florence, to even think about a Class…many were still gutting their homes, due to flood damage, wind damage, etc.,.

We all felt it was a good time on November 7th, to return to some fun, and fellowship of we ‘Card Makers’! The following Card is the Card we made…it was originally scheduled for the September Class! Now it made it’s debut!

Here is the ‘Bridge Card’ we made!

I used the Alpine Adventure Stamp Set, along with the Alpine Sports Thinlits to stamp and cut out all the Sports Equipment for the Card…oh, the gifts too!

Here is another angle, so you can see how the card is made!

We found that we had to trim the skis down, they were just too long!

Instead of an ‘inside’ of the Card, we have a ‘back’ of the Card!

I used the same Stamp Set and the Thinlits, again for the Snowshoes!

Gray Granite- card base, 4.25″ X 8″

score @ 1.25″, 2.50″, 5.50″, and 6.75″, this makes the sides of the Card!

front strip, 1″ x 5.50″

front square, mat- 2.50″ x 2.50″

Garden Green- wreath 1″ x 1″

Cherry Cobbler- bow on wreath .50″ x .50″

Silver Foil Sheet- blade for the small sled,  .50″ x 3.50″

Whisper White- front square, 2.25″ x 2.25″

back panel, 2.75″ x 4″

Sahara Sand- large sled, 2″ x 3.25″

Early Espresso- large sled, 2″ x 3.25″

(used the Sahara Sand and Early Espresso sleds, glued together for

a more sturdier die cut. A third piece from DSP, layered on top)

Alpine Adventure- greeting, snowshoes, skis, gifts

Merry Christmas To All- back sentiment

Cherry Cobbler- greeting, sentiment, red gift

Blueberry Bushel- 2 blue gifts

Call Me Clover- 2 green gifts

Wood Textures- both sleds

Festive Farmhouse- front center panel, 2.75″ X 4″

front strip across bottom, 1″ x 5.50″

4 panels on the sides, 1″ x 4″

Big Shot- die cutting machine

Alpine Sports Thinlits- snowshoes, 2 sleds, wreath, bow, gifts on small sled, skis

Linen Thread- tied onto the large sled

Here is the Card, once again!

So happy we were able to all get together and share some time together!

I do have to say…I missed them ALL!

We decided that for December’s Class…we’d make a Birthday Card!

Kind of Gender Neutral…I have just the Card I’d like to teach!

Now to just find the DSP!!!

Until the next Post…Blessings and Fellowship to you ALL!

Bee Happy for TSOT 383…

Glad you could stop by for a peek at today’s card!

The Challenger: Try Stampin On Tuesdays #383

is a Sketch Challenge!

The Optional Challenge is: Cozy Patterns

Here is the Challenge!

TSOT 383

I switched sides for my card and for the ‘cozy patterns’

I used the Hexagonal TIEF to create a ‘honeycomb’ pattern!

Here is my Card!

If this looks familiar, it is because I had some DSP left over AND the

background (yellow) DSP is one left over from another project. This yellow DSP

just begged to be used for some ‘Bee’ cards! So I made 6 more different Cards!

This Card is one of the 6…Tomorrow’s Post will showcase the rest of the Cards!
