Dragonfly Wishes for TGIFC187…

Hello Again Everyone!

I was going through my Get Well Cards…I need more!

I also need Anniversary Cards too…I know what I have to work on now!

Today’s Card is for a Technique Challenge from

TGIFC #187

 

Here is the Challenge!

Sponging technique! So many to choose from…I chose to use

my sponging for a background light!

 

Here is my Card!

I used my Stamparatus for the Dragonfly…it is 2 step stamping for the

Dragonfly, and then the wings, for color! But first, I punched a circle with

the Starburst Punch and then used it as a template to sponge the ‘sun’!

 

Here is the inside of my Card!

I used my Stampin’ Write Markers to lightly color the inside flowers!

 

THE STOCK AND MEASURES FOR THE CARDMAKERS:

CARDSTOCK:

Old Olive- card base, 8.5″ x 5.5″ scored @ 4.25″, fold in half on the score

Whisper White- front and inside panels, 4″ x 5.25″

STAMP SETS:

Dragonfly Dreams- dragonfly and dots on front

Healing Hugs- greeting, inside sentiment, inside flowers

INKS:

Memento Tuxedo Black- dragonfly, greeting, inside sentiment

Mint Macaron- dots on front

Lemon Lime Twist- dragonfly wing color

Mango Melody- sponged ‘sun’

STAMPIN’ WRITE MARKERS:

Lemon Lime Twist- inside leaves

Mango Melody- inside flowers

 

Here is the Card, once again!

 

I will be making more ‘Get Well’ Cards…I need to build up my Stash!
