I am Posting this EARLY…I have a Craft Fair Today and I am
going to be leaving very Early…so this will be several hours early!
Making all the items for the Craft Show has put me in the Christmas Spirit!
I have Christmas on the Brain!
Many of the Challenges out their in Blog Land
are now doing Christmas themed Challenges…
…although I am at goal for my Christmas Card Stash,
I just can’t resist a Christmas Challenge!
Today’s Card is for a Sketch Challenge and it is NOT Christmas…
…but I couldn’t resist turning this sketch onto a Christmas Card!

At first glance, it looked as if this sketch was asking
for the DSP to make a large statement…the decision was…what DSP?
As mentioned before, I was at max for Christmas Cards, but….
I had to make a ‘sweet’ card!!!
Here is my take on the Sketch!
I really like this DSP! It is called Santa’s Workshop Specialty DSP.
The ‘Specialty’ is that some of the DSP is flocked!
Those ‘white stripes’ in the DSP…flocked! So Pretty!
I also used the new ‘Candy Cane Builder Punch’!
The Punch, punches out the Candy Cane AND the bow!
The Stamp Set is a 2 Step Stamp Set and I liked the that I could
put the greeting inside the Candy Cane!!!
Here is the inside of the Card!
Kept it simple and left plenty of space for that personal note and signature!
THE STOCKS AND MEASURES:
CARDSTOCK:
Whisper White, Thick- card base, 8.5″ x 5.5″ scored @ 4.25″ fold in half on the fold
Poppy Parade- mat for dotted strip, 1.25″ x 4.50″
DSP:
Santa’s Workshop Specialty DSP- left front panel, 4″ x 5.5″ right strip, 1″ x 4.25″
inside strip, .50″ x 4″
STAMP SETS:
Candy Cane Season- candy cane, greeting, and bow
Versatile Christmas- retired, inside sentiment
(there are some stamp sets I will not give up!)
INKS:
Poppy Parade- candy cane outline, and bow color
Memento’s Tuxedo Black- greeting inside candy cane, bow outline, inside sentiment
TOOLS:
Candy Cane Builder Punch- front candy cane and the bow
Here is the Card once again!
