Hello All!
Happy November 1st to you ALL!
Today’s Card is a great Fall Card!
The Challenge from Stamp Ink Paper (SIP#174)
Here is the Challenge!
The Theme is Trick or Treat…I went with a trick!
Let me explain…
Awhile back, I was perusing Pinterest and came upon this card
by Brigit Edblom from Penny Black Stamps.
Here is the Card!
Isn’t that gorgeous?
I don’t own the stamp set, but I wanted to recreate this card…
…so I used what I had. First I went out to my yard and snipped off a
long piece of branch from one of the fallen limbs from Hurricane Florence.
I brought the twig back to my craft room and measured off and cut a 3″ piece.
I then set to work on my card…BTW the ‘Trick’ is the piece of twig!
Here is what I came up with!
Ha! I Love it!
I made this a Sympathy Card…I like having
these kinds of cards on hand, when I need them.
Here is the inside of my Card!
I stamped the leaves into Mango Melody and then with a finger dauber, I daubed
into Cajun Craze, and then just randomly hit the stamp with the Cajun Craze ink.
I then stamped the leaves onto the front panel and the inside of the Card, one at a time!
I attached the ‘twig’ to the card with Mini Glue Dots.
I love how this Card turned out!
