A White Christmas…for JUGS464!

Hello All!

This Week’s Challenge is from Just Us Girls #464

Here is the Challenge!

JUGS 464

I have always like Red and White for Christmas!

I saw a card out there in Web Land and wanted to replicate it!

The Card is from a YouTube Video by

Scrapbooking with M.E.

(Ms. Edith Wray)

Look it up if you want the tutorial on how to make this card!

Here is Ms. Edith’s Card!

That moon looking thing is a reflection of her flash on the red foil!

Here is my take on Ms. Edith’s Card!

My Card is a little different, but some items I used,

are similar to what Ms. Edith  used for her Card!

Here is the inside of my Card!

I went ahead and brought some of the white pines inside with

colored red, rhinestones to look like some berries!

Whisper White Thick- card base, 8.5″ x 5.5″ score @ 4.25″ fold in half on the score line

Whisper White Reg.- front embossed panel, 3.75″ x 5″

window, 3″ x 4″

sprigs- used a half sheet of cardstock

a piece to cut the greeting banner, .50″ x 2″

Tonic Studios Foil Paper- Ruby Red, for mat under panel, 4″ x 5.25″

piece for tree, behind the window, 2 3/8″ x 3 1/8″

Oh, What Fun- retired, greeting

Versatile Christmas- inside sentiment

Memento Tuxedo Black- greeting, inside sentiment

Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Ink Marker- Light Cherry Cobbler, to color Rhinestones

Big Shot- die cutting and dry embossing machine

Hearth and Home Framelits- window

Decorative Dots TIEF- embossing folder for front panel under window

McGill Designer Pine Punch- punched 26 sprigs- 22 for the tree, 2 for the window bough under the bow, and 2 for the inside of the card

Red Ribbon- from my stash, for bow

Jewels Basic Rhinestones- I used 12 colored red Rhinestones for the tree and I used three colored Rhinestones, inside the card. I used 9 plain Rhinestones on the tree!

Foam Adhesive Strips- all around the outside, underneath the window to raise it up on the card.

Here is my Card, again!

Mr. Hubster really liked this Card! He was cutting through my Craft room and

did a double take and made his comment of how much he liked the Card!

He is very encouraging of my card making!

What a Guy!

My Christmas Stash is Growing!!!

Until the Next Post…Blessings and Merry Wishes to you ALL!
