  1. Hope you were all safe and sound during Michael – I have friends in Houston who were in Florida just at the wrong time. Thanks for joining us at HSS this week.

    1. So sorry to hear about your friends…will hold them up in prayer. We did good…I have nothing to complain about. Considering the loss here of many in our community…I have nothing to complain about at all. We pretty much are a retirement community and many people lost all they had…they were in 500 year flood zones and guess what…they flooded. Many didn’t have Flood insurance, just wind damage insurance. The clean up and rebuilding will come out of their retirements. Many have gutted their homes and are selling as is at reduced prices…so sad. They are all just walking away. I have to hold my area in prayer too. Then you look at Mexico Beach in FL and all there lost ALL. Just a sad thing…and now the big one in the Pacific Ocean…maybe God is trying to tell us something? Hard to say this, but, maybe this is the way we will all come together and work together and show love, not division.

  3. How lovely! The buffalo check really resembles a cozy fall blanket! I’d love to curl up in that chair and blanket with a good book! Thanks for playing along with us at HSS!
