Hello Everyone!
Thank you for peeking in for Today’s Card!
Today’s Card is for a Sketch Challenge from
The Paper Players #411
Here is the Sketch!
Here is my take on the Sketch!
I like the Fall feel of this Card. Although it is a Sympathy Card, it is warm.
The DSP is printed with all the Botanical names for flowers.
Here is a close up of the flower center!
I used the Stampin’ Blends-Bronze to color the Pearls!

ON ANOTHER NOTE…
The call came out to feed a crew from another state at out church. I have the makings for a dinner and dessert, I have offered this. Waiting to hear back…things are progressing, but with dotting i’s and crossing t’s…it does take awhile to really get things moving along. The big thing now is getting the services up for the massive curbed trash pick up started. Many can’t strip houses till their Insurance Companies have inspected their homes and the damage. Unfortunately, the wait causes the items to sit longer, and it can cause undamaged items to get damaged from moisture and new mold growing. The Companies are overwhelmed, they are being precise and concise, being patient is hard for many…so many elderly are here and need help cleaning out their homes of all the damaged furniture, flooring, and even cutting out the walls and insulation. Many homes are still without power, the water was that deep. The electrical crews are starting to put up temporary power poles to those homes that were affected. The schools have sent work crews of students and also many churches are sending out their youth groups to help…a GREAT thing, but the needs are greater still. I ask for prayers for New Bern residents…they need help. The businesses are starting to reopen in the Historic Downtown area…but the garbage heaps are there too. I have been through a few things, but this is one of the worst I have seen. The only thing that was worse was 9/11. I am not going to minimize New Bern’s damage, it is great and all over…however, we are not giving in #NewBernStrong!
I like the contrast between the light and dark in the background. It really draws the eye to the lovely sunflower. This is a really nice interpretation of the sketch. Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players.
Just gorgeous!
What a delightful color combination! Even though the occasion is somber, this card is sure to bring a warm feeling to the recipient! LOVE Painted Harvest! Thanks for playing with the Players’ sketch this week!
This is just beautiful! I love it!!
