Hello Folks!
Hopefully as you read this Post, I will be boarding my plane to come back home to NC!
This Card was made with the DSP from the Dovecraft’s Bee Happy Suite, I got in the
2018 August Issue #185 of
Cardmaking and Papercraft Magazine!
This DSP looked so different from the other ‘Bee’ DSP!
I decided to dedicate a Post to this card because I used a
Bleach Technique on today’s Card!
Here is the finished Card!
I first heat embossed the 3 flowers on the right, with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder.
I then took my Aqua Painter, instead of being filled with water, I filled it with bleach!
Good ole’ Chlorine Bleach you use in your laundry!
I painted the inside of each flower petal, oh so slowly!
As the bleach dries, you can see the bleached out effect in all the flowers!
They turned white! Just what I wanted them to do!
Now they match the flowers in the DSP!
I used Stampin’Up! stamp set ‘In Every Season’ for the 3 flowers!
They were the closet to looking like the DSP flowers!
Here is the inside of my Card!
I only had to color in the leaves on this flower!
After I unpack and get a bit settled back in…I will be posting new
Cards for Challenges, my Stamp Class AND we will also be doing
Christmas Cards! I also will show items I do for my Craft Fairs!
Until the next Post…Blessings to you ALL!
Beautiful card! I love this technique too!
Thank you Beth…I tried it once an a larger flower, and I didn’t care for it…this was a second attempt…I like this one!
