Get Well Wishes for JUGS453 andPP405!

Hello Everyone!

Thank you for peeking in today!

Today’s Card is for a combination of 2 Challenges!

One is a Color Challenge, the other, a Technique Challenge!

Here are the Challengers!

First, the Technique Challenger…Just Us Girls #453 (JUGS453)

jugs 453

I am guessing this means a ‘quick watercolored’ card…?

Second, the Color Challenger, the Paper Players #405 (PP405)

What a great Color Combination! Very Summer-like!

Here is my Card!

I used the Pumpkin Pie and Mango Melody in the flowers,

The So Saffron is the Card base!

One note…when I ‘water-color’, I used alcohol in my Aqua Painter!

I find, I don’t have to use ‘watercolor’ paper and it dries quicker,

without curling the cardstock too!

The ‘water-coloring’ part of this card was very quick…I am guessing that is the ‘fast’ part!

Here is the inside of my Card!

The stems on the inside, came out in a two-toned look! I did not plane it, it just happened!

So Saffron-card base, 8.5″ x 5.5″ scored @ 4.25″, fold in half on the score

Pear Pizzazz-front and inside mats, 4″ x 5.25″

Whisper White- 3.75″ x 5″, both front and inside panels

Blended Seasons- flowers, stems inside

Healing Hugs- greeting, inside sentiment

Memento Tuxedo Black Stamp Pad- greeting

Pear Pizzazz- inside sentiment, leaves

Soft Sea Foam- leaves

Pumpkin Pie- flower middles and edges

Mango Medley- flower petals

VersaMark Watermark Stamp Pad- pre stamping for heat embossing

Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder- for the flowers…creates the border to color within the lines!

Heat Tool- to heat emboss the powder for floral outlines

Aqua Painter- filled with rubbing alcohol for ‘water’ painting the flowers and leaves!

Here is my Card, once again!

I do love the COLORS!

I will be using this color combo again soon! I LOVE it!

On Another Note:

I have a wonderful friend up North that is going through many health issues, regarding her Scleroderma. This disease also affects her auto-immune system, heavily. Please keep my friend, Patsy in prayer. The Doctors say her mortality, at this point is 5 years. She just became a Grandmother, and is loving the joy of that right now! Patsy tires very easily and please join me in praying for a miracle for Patsy. I would love for her to be able to watch that Grand-baby grow up! Also her youngest son is only in his second year of college. What a wonderful family! I do miss her much, and I guess I didn’t realize the extent of her illness…when we last spoke, a week or so ago, Patsy let me know the whole story. I am keeping her lifted up for a healing. Join me? Thanks in advance!

This Card is going to Patsy.

Until the next Post…Blessings and Thanks to you ALL!
