Today’s Card is a CASE card!

CASE means Copy And Share Everything!

I CASEd this card, made by Connie Stewart, a fellow

Stampin’Up! Demonstrator!

 

Below here is Connie Stewart’s Card!

Gorgeous, isn’t it? I had to copy this one!

So Pretty! SO I made 2 of these cards!

I wanted to try this with another

Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF)

I used the Subtle TEIF…it looks like Linen!

 

Here is Card #1

I didn’t have the 5/8″ Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon

I substituted this ribbon with the Whisper White Organdy Ribbon (now retired).

My next order will be many Ribbons! I have my List!!!

I also used the Petal Pink Cardstock for mats. Connie used the same DSP and

she used the reverse side. Also a great hint…the heart is die cut from the mat!

A great hint Connie showed people awhile ago, she does this all the time for her Cards!

Here is the inside of my Card!

So soft…and you know me…I use a strip of the DSP to bring the colors INSIDE!

The greeting and inside sentiment are stamped in Petal Pink!

Liked this Card a lot!  So, I made another one!

This time I changed the mat colors! The color is also in the piece of DSP!

I used the new color, Grapefruit Grove! I LOVE this Color! One of my all-time FAVS!

So HAPPY it is in the In-Color 2018-2020 Collection! The sad part,

we only have this color for two years…so eat it up, it is beautiful!

 

Here is my Card with Grapefruit Grove!

Pop! This color is a WINNER!

The Ribbon is Calypso Coral Seam Binding Ribbon…I had some left over

in my stash…like I mentioned before, I have a new

ribbon order list for my next order!!!

I do like this color combo the best!

I will use the other Card but…this Card I may make more!

Love this DSP with the Grapefruit Grove Cardstock!

Hope you like this too! Try your hand at all three!

OR

Try other color Combinations! I am thinking maybe MOSSY MEADOW!

I am up in RI but, before I left I thought I’d share some Cards I put together with a bunch of leftover pieces of a Memories & More Card Pack from last year! I also purchased some Swarovski Crystals from Michael’s bargain bin last year and I found a way to use them too! Also…on a couple of cards I used some rhinestones and rhinestone stars.

Onto the Cards!

 

Card #1

I used Old Olive for the base…found some sprigs and used them. I punched some berries with a hand held hole punch and adhered to the sprigs for that pop of color! I also used some star rhinestones for a little bling!

Here is the inside of that card!

Kept it simple!

 

Card #2

Lots of Bling! Used those assorted Swarovski Crystals on each ornament for that Christmas Magic! I used Real Red for the card base and Lemon Lime Twist for the card front mat! I also used a mat inside the card too!

Yes, I did add Bling here too! I stamped those ornaments in Old Olive Ink!

 

Card #3

I Blinged this one up in Rhinestones only! After all, they are snowflakes! I used Basic Black Cardstock for the card. I used Real Red Ink for the greeting.

 

Here is the inside of this Card!

 I used Real Red Ink here AND I used the Memento Tuxedo Black Ink to stamp the two snowflakes here! Yup! Put some bling there too!

 

Card #4 similar to Card #2 except in portrait, not landscape!

Blinged this baby up too! Used the same cardstock here as I did with Card #2!

I didn’t mat the inside here. I did put some Bling here too! Hey it’s for Christmas!

 

ON ANOTHER NOTE:

I did get some cards made up before I left to RI!

They will be on the rest of my ‘Blog’ Postings while I am away!

On Another Note!

I am going to be taking a hiatus from card making, for a week. I am flying up to RI today for a get together with my Sisters for ‘Sister’s Week’! I am so looking forward to seeing them, again under happier circumstances. The last time we got together was my Father’s Memorial Service. We are discussing inviting the Brothers and SIL’s for a dinner one of the Nights we are all there! It would be fun! I am going to UNPLUG while I am up there…sometimes, you just have to! I will fly back home, here next Wednesday! However, I did make up some Cards to show you what I have been working on, not just challenges!!!

Whisper White- card base, 8.5″ x 5.5″ score @ 4.25″ fold in half on the score

STAMP SET:

Perennial Birthday- all stamping, greeting, inside sentiment and flowers and dots!

INKS:

Mango Melody- inside flowers, single flower on front

Granny Apple Green- leaves and stems

Lemon Lime Twist- dots on the front and inside (the color looks pretty close to the Granny Apple Green!)

STAMPIN’ WRITE MARKERS: used to color the stamp

Pumpkin Pie- large flower on front

Mango Melody- little flower and flowers on sprig

Granny Apple Green- leaves, stem

Mr. Hubster’s Best Friend up North is going through Cancer Treatments. This Card is going to him! His spirits are high, he has gone through some treatment for one cancer and is going to be starting another treatment for his other cancer. We are praying for a great turnout like the other treatment.

HERE ARE THE STOCK AND MEASURES:

Crumb Cake- card base, 8.5″ x 5.5″ score @ 4.25″ fold in half on the score

Cajun Craze- 5/8″ x 4.25″, house eave

So Saffron- 2 3/8″ x 2 3/4″ window, inside mat 4″ x 5.25″, scraps for flowers

Mango Melody- scraps for flowers

Granny Apple Green- leaf sprigs (bushes)

Whisper White- inside panel, 3.75″ x 5″

-scrap piece to make greeting banner  1/2″ x 1 1/2″

DSP:

Wood Textures- window, 3″ x 4″ then die cut out

Stamp Sets:

Itty Bitty Greetings- greeting

Flourishing Phrases- inside sentiment

Beautiful Bouquet- flowers centers

INKS:

Soft Suede- greeting, inside sentiment, flower centers

Ruffled, Dynamic TIEF- card front and eave, to look like shingles
