Lighthouse Love, for ‘Inspired by Color’ Challenge given by my Upline, Mary Fish!

Hello All!

My Upline, as a Stampin’Up! Demonstrator, challenged us all with this Color Challenge!

Here is the Challenge!

Inspired by Color-Mary Fish

Looks like the colors are from her shoes and the base of her clothes!

Here is my Card!

I must admit, it took me 2 days mulling over these colors, to come up with this Card!

I also did a little to the inside, to bring the colors inside too!

I used sponge daubers to color the front and the inside!

Petal Pink-card base, 8.5″ x 5.5″, scored @ 4.25″, fold in half on the score line

Whisper White-front panel, 3.75″ x 5″   inside panel-4″ x 5.25″

Gorgeous Grape-mat for front panel

High Tide-2 step stamp set, greeting, and the scenes, front and inside card

Kindness & Compassion-inside sentiment

Calypso Coral-lighthouse and sun

Gorgeous Grape-water, stamped and then added sponging

Memento Tuxedo Black-(I don’t have the Basic Black) land and sea, greeting, inside sentiment, birds, lighthouse base

Daffodil Delight-a daub on the top of the lighthouse, for it’s light!

Sponge Daubers-for all sponging, sea and sky and land

Here is my Card again!

This really was a hard one, but now that I is done!

I like it!

Until the next Post…Blessings and Hugs to you ALL!

  1. I love the colors and lighthouses! I visit our lighthouse at least once a month. My mom started making cards a few months ago and they are gorgeous as our yours!

    1. So happy to hear about your Mom’s new hobby! Nothing like receiving a handmade card! Hope she has started her Christmas Cards…the season will come up quick!! Thanks for your input and I too am delighted by your blog!

Let me know what you think!
