I liked how this turned out! I may make a bunch of these this year for all the

monetary gifts I will be mailing up North to Family!

On Another Note:

In April, we had my good friend Joan here for a visit…we went all over and back while she was visiting. We had a great time!

Then getting ready for the next guests visit…the Grands were here the end of June/beginning of July! We went all over and back with them too! Then they went home…so sad…we only got a week with them this year. Perhaps next year they can stay 2 weeks…however one is older and has a job…the time off has to work in with her schedule, the other is 4.5 years younger and soon she will be getting a job too! We will soak up all the time we get with them! One week, if we have to!

Then, mid June, my other good friend, Dixie came and stayed for 2 weeks! We had such a great time! A BIG reason I was MIA…we went everywhere! She even did the Swimnastics with me every morning! We visited the same places I took Joan, and we discovered new places to go with Joan for her next visit and when the Grands come again! So much to discover here! We have decided that next year we will do Lighthouses, beaches, and islands here in NC! Beaches being the key place to go…we spent one day at a beach and one on the island with the wild horses…didn’t get to see the horses, but the day was great! The rest of the time we ran around…next year…just beaches! Resting and reading at the beaches…maybe I won’t be so tired! Sounds like an excellent plan to me!!!

So, hopefully I can get back into the business of making cards! After all, I have a room dedicated to doing just that, Making Cards! I will be MIA again the end of August thru Labor Day…Sister’s Weekend got moved up to Labor Day Weekend from Columbus Day Weekend this year…A conflict of schedules…we are flexible! I hope I can get some cards made and scheduled for posting for that time! I guess I’ll have to move it. move it!!!

Until the next Post…Blessings and Full Pockets to you ALL!

  2. What a clever take on the sketch! The pocket is perfect and is sure to be appreciated by the recipient. Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
