Hello Everyone!
So glad you stopped by today!
I will warn you…this Post is lengthy!
Today’s Card is for a Christmas Card Challenge from
52 Christmas Card Throwdown!
Here is the Challenge…!
OK! I HAD A BIG SENIOR MOMENT!
I made a Card and then realized, I read the Challenge
TOTALLY WRONG!
Hmm, maybe I need to get new glasses…
Any way here is my Oops! Card!
It is my Oops! Because I made a wood item, not a wood background!
Here is the inside of the Oops! Card!
I added the tree to the inside. I played with putting the tree
at the end of the dock…but it didn’t look right. So the inside
got a little gussied up!
Here is the Card I will be submitting for the Challenge!
A wood background!!!
I took a piece of Wood Textures DSP and using the Woodgrain TIEF
I added the grain texture to the DSP!
Here is the inside of the Card!
I used the Christmas Pines Stamp Set for the inside
and the Pretty Pines Thinlits for the Card Front die cuts!

I’M going to share, a new line of toys I purchased at the
Stamp & Scrapbook Expo!
This man was demonstrating this line called
“Local King Rubber Stamp”
The Company is out of Canada and it was amazing to see how
this man used the markers right onto the stamps and then stamped
the image and then used his dies to cut them out!
It seemed that all he did was scribble over the stamp with several
different colors and then stamped and cut and…Voila’!
I perused his wares in the booth and found several “Nautical”
Stamp Sets and Dies…yes, I bought them!
Here are the markers and a Stamp Set and Die Set!
Love this one!
I made the Oops! Card with this set!
Here is another Set!
I like the ship AND the pier buildings!
These are just 2 stamp sets, no dies!
Loved the beachy feel and the net will make great backgrounds!
I am looking forward to playing with the rest of this line!
I will be sure to share them with you ALL!
Until the next Post…Many Blessings to you ALL!
Two lovely cards – although the oops card doesn’t fit the challenge, you’ll be proud to give it to someone special come Christmas time! Thanks for joining in at the 52CCT.
I love the look of you Oops card, beautiful. The wood is the perfect backdrop for your greenery on the second card. Thanks for joining in at 52CCT
