Today’s Card is from a Color Challenge I missed out on…I just loved the
Color Combo and decided to run with it!
Here in North Carolina, we have a Sea Turtle Rescue!
It is at Pine Hill Shores in conjunction with the Aquarium.
Each year, a release is done for all the Turtles that had to be rehabbed for one injury or another. It is a big Event and everyone is happy to see the Sea Turtles return to the Ocean! So cool to watch…and they let the kids participate in the release!
What a great life lesson! People, we need to stop throwing our trash to the oceans.
We really need to stop injuring, either on purpose,or through our own carelessness, we need to stop littering our oceans. Think before you pack for an outing.

I am a big fan of blue and green…the gray was my challenge!

I decided to use the Smoky Slate gray for my card base!

I have hung on to ALL my ‘nautical’ type stamps…this is an older, retired stamp set but, I will continue to use them over and over!

Smoky Slate-base, 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored @ 4 1/4″ fold in half on the score
Night of Navy-front and inside bottom mats, 4″ x 5 1/4″
Old Olive-front mat, 3 3/4″ x 5″

Whisper White-inside panel, 3 3/4″ x 5″
DSP:

Old Olive-turtles, stamped and then heat embossed with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder (only the card front turtles, inside turtle is not heat embossed)
