Hello Folks!
So many Weddings today are not Traditional.
It’s not a bad thing…couples are planning their own
celebrations of their unions, in their own way!
Other than Prince Harry and Meaghan…many couples
break further away from tradition than just a cake flavor
or choice of song for their first dance as a couple!
They make the day their own.
I admire that!
On to Today’s Card!

Here is my Card, again!
I now have that non-traditional Card in my stash!
When Mr. Hubster and I married, we had it in the evening,
it was a second marriage for the both of us,
and the reception was held in a home of a good friend’s Mother. She did
all the cooking and she did buy the cake, but it was a relaxed and enjoyable time.
There were about 40 close friends and relatives.
I did wear a traditional dress with train, but it was from 1935 and Ivory from age.
I wore a gardenia flower on a hair comb, and carried an artificial bouquet, made with
gardenia’s and greenery. Simple, however we did have a church service, candlelight!
Ah! So many years ago!!! BUT, we did have our own simple ‘Gala’ to celebrate.
We did it our way!
So…Kudos to those that plan ‘their day’ ‘their way’!
Until the next Post…Blessings and Great Planning to you ALL!
Such a beautiful card. Love the sentiment! Thanks for joining us for Viva la Verve!
