A Green With Envy Card Swap!

Many of our Demonstrators are heading to various sites around the World for an ‘Onstage’ Event, celebrating the release of the new Catalog, coming out in June!

It is also time to reward the Top Demonstrators and Team Leaders!

As Demonstrators we get the Catalogs early, so we can order supplies and new items, to give us time to work with them, to make samples, to show the customers, how the stamp sets work on cards and if they are part of a ‘Suite’, how it all gets pulled together!

I will not be attending any of these events. I will not have my hands on a Catalog, until I place an order when the pre-ordering begins. I will have access to a PDF catalog, till I place my first order for items/stock! The Catalog release to the public is set for the very beginning of June. You will be able to order then…

So a wonderful Lady/Demonstrator came up with a ‘Green With Envy’ (since those included will not be attending any of the Events) Card Swap…we have to use GREEN on the Card…I did receive some Cards with no green, so I may be wrong, but it seems many others also used different shades of green…so I am guessing they may have thought it was just an ‘green with envy’ swap…I don’t know…I may be wrong! But anyway, I made up 12 Cards (we ended up having 2 groups of 20) I was in the first group of 10. I sent 11 Cards to one person…she keeps one for the Ronald McDonald House near her! And divides the Cards by the 10 people in the group…I got one of mine back…and I received cards from 9 other card makers! What a great thing for my stash!

I went through my Cards and took pictures of them all…those that weren’t finished!

I stamped the insides!

Here are the Cards!

This is the Card I made!

100_4638

I didn’t stamp this yet…but you can just barely see the clear heat embossing in a triangle pattern behind the little rose inside here…the pattern of the heat embossing matches the impression embossing on the front panel on the card!

100_4639

This Card is from Deb Chestnut

100_4641

Again, I finished the inside!

100_4642

This Card is from Mary Hanson

100_4643

I sort of CASEd this Card on Yesterday’s Blog Post. I turned the Card 90 degrees

and I didn’t use the butterfly element, but I used a banner instead!

100_4644

I stamped the inside and put a mat behind it for more color inside!

This Card is from Janice Rose

100_4646

The little bear is a tag! I had to show the inside of the tag Janice stamped!

100_4647

I did stamp the inside of the card!

100_4648

This Card is from Bev Snyder

100_4650

I stamped in a Sympathy Sentiment.

100_4651

This last Card is from Ruth Petsel

100_4652

As lovely as this is…I am going to use this one soon!

So I added a Greeting!

100_4653

I added a mat and another layer to the card’s inside for strength

and stamped the inside sentiment.

100_4654

I was very happy to receive all these lovely Cards from other Demonstrators

That is what we Demonstrators do, we share!

And as Demonstrators we share what we love with you all!

Until the next Post…Blessings and Sharing to you ALL!

Bleaching Technique!

Last night was my Card Class!

We did the bleaching Technique that I showed on 2 Cards

Here are the Cards we made!

Sad to say…only 1 person showed up for the class! I believe I need

to send out that reminder e-mail…we are getting older!!!!

But it was fun and I enjoyed showing the technique…

Next Class…we will be making a Mother’s Day Card…if our Mother’s

are in heaven…we do have daughters, daughter-in-laws, sisters, sister-in-laws,

Aunts and good friends…any of the above would love to receive a beautiful

A Triple Play for the Christmas Card Stash! MM284, 52CCT, PP387

Hello Everyone!

So a funny thing happened while making Today’s Card!

I knew I had a couple of Christmas Card Challenges to do…so

I thought I would combine them…unbeknownst to me…I also had

a third Challenge on the brain…I thought is was one of the Christmas

Card Challenges…so I go to making the Card…then when I was pulling

the pages for the Challenges…I realized that the third challenge was incorporated

into the Christmas Card Challenges in total error!

I knew one challenge was ‘music’

the other challenge was ‘red & white’

It was the ’embossing’ challenge that was incorporated in error!

I thought the ‘music’ and ‘red and white’ were the challenges…I thought I’d emboss

white onto red for that challenge…then, I just started stamping in VersaMark and

White Stampin’ Emboss Powder over all…little did I realize at that time…I was

using 3 Challenges instead of 2 Challenges!

The following are the three challenges!!!

100_4622

I am happy to get a couple of more Cards into the Christmas Card Stash!

I have mentioned before, I make 2 Cards at a time, when I make my Cards!

Very seldom I make one Card…you have to cut the Cardstock in half…

…may as well make 2 cards!

Do you make 2 Cards at once or do you just make one Card at a time?

Let me know…I’m just curious!

Thanks for stopping by and see you next Post…Until then, Blessings to you ALL!

Love the ‘Spring-y’ look of these colors!

I chose this little bird…he reminds me of the little brown birds

we have here…I have one that stops by my back deck daily and sings

his little heart out for me and then I don’t see him till the next day!

Last year, I had one build a nest in my hanging flower-pot in my

gazebo…I thought I was going to have to sacrifice a pot of flowers,

to the little family…but they all flourished!

Hope you all had a Blessed Easter and good time with your families!

A quiet day for us…after church, I went over to the woman’s house, who

is in charge of our plant sale, for the Garden Club here in the community…

we repotted all the plants we went back to the greenhouses to get!

One other woman joined us (we three were the only people not having dinners with

additional family members) we had the time to get all the potting done!

Now to keep everything watered till the 21st of

this month…the day of the Garden Club’s Annual Plant Sale!

A lot of work, but also rewarding!

Until the next Post…Wishing you all a Happy Spring!
