It’s Not Easy Being Green…for SSC177

It sometimes hard for people to get into the color green. I have siblings, not in love with the color at all! Myself…I LOVE GREEN!

My home is white, off-white, and green and red! At Christmas it is easy to decorate! I really don’t require a lot of stuff! Just pops of red and gold everywhere!

Today’s Color Challenge from Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC177

The focus seemed green. It also challenges with Navy Blue, Beige and Creamy colors too!

Here is the Challenge!

SSC177

I really like this color combination!

(and those parfait cups look yummy too!)

Here is my Card!

The stamped panel is Whisper White.

The bird is color blended with Crumb Cake and Sahara Sand

Stampin’ Write Markers.

Here is the stamped inside of my Card!

MIA and Itching to Get Back to Normal!

Hello Stampers!

I have been MIA for awhile…I drove over to WV to visit my Dad…while there, Dad had a heart attack and had a stent placed, inside another stent. They also checked the back side of his heart with an Endoscopy and said his valves looked pretty good. Pretty good for an 85-year-old man, is good! If he were 20, pretty good would be bad. So the day Dad was discharged from the hospital, I drove back home to NC.  I was supposed to return on Monday the 16th, instead, I drove on the 18th. It has been non-stop busy for me since I got back! I have been in the Craft Room to clean and that is about it!

Stampin’Up! will be having a BIG Color Revamp this year with the New Catalog that goes live early June! I packed up all my discontinued paper, ink pads, markers, ribbons, etc.,. to send to my niece up in RI. I also had to print and label the cardstock slots with the new colors that will be debuting! So excited! Many Colors are coming back as permanent in our color collections! Remember Poppy Parade, Coastal Cabana, Mint Macaron, Mossy Meadow? They are coming back! Also New In-Colors and new Colors for the collections! Very Exciting to see these, but a lot of work to prepare for them!

I also had to help prep for the Plant Sale our Garden Club held last Saturday…a lot of work to label and price and then transport all the plants to the sale tables…then I manned the Herb & Vegetable table…the sale was a great success and we were all beat!

I am the Chair-person for the Garden Club’s Bus Trip this year. I had to run around and get prices for items we need for the trip and then decide which to use. I held a meeting today with my Volunteers and we assigned the little jobs to do that day of the Trip. We also set a date for the Bag & Tag of the goodies we will be passing out to all the Garden Club Members going! I have a good friend coming into town the day before…she gets to go! I was praying a seat would be open for her, today she was added and paid for! I called her to let her know and she was over the Moon! So, that will be the beginning of her visit with me that week! I will probably have a few days to play in the Craft Room…I hope so, never mind creating, I have to get everything ready for my Stampin’ Class too! Hopefully I will be able to make some cards for the Challenges out there! Stay Tuned!

Thank you for hanging in there with me!

I will try real hard to get some done to share with you!

Until the next Post…Blessings to you ALL!

TGIFC 154

What a beautiful combo of color!

Here is my Card!

100_4678

The cake plate and bow are cut from the Champagne Foil Sheet!

To me, it has a pinkish hue to it and I thought it was a good way to help bring the

‘bling’ to a very celebratory Card! That ‘foil-like’ Washi Tape was from my stash!

Here is my Card’s inside!

100_4683

I didn’t stamp too much…I want to keep as much ‘white’ space for a personal note!

Here is my Card with its matching envelope!

A Color Challenge from

FabFri#134

FabFri 134

what I found hard in this color challenge…

SSINKCS 51

Here is my take on combining the two!

Attached with a Mini Glue Dot!   Done and Done!

Here is the inside of the Card…this can be used for either a Birthday or Father’s Day!
