Hello Friends!
Than you Again for stopping by today!
I didn’t Post yesterday…truth be told…I didn’t have a Card to post!
I worked on 3 Cards and Today’s Card is one of them!
Today’s Card is for a
Technique Challenge: Embossing
either Impression Embossing OR Heat Embossing
for TSOT’s March Technique Challenge!
Here is the Challenge!
Embossing can be done 2 ways…using an Embossing Folder on cardstock or using Embossing powders and Heat Setting. The example above does both techniques…I chose to do the same!
Here is my Card!
I used Tranquil Tide for the card base and Pool Party for the Embossed cardstock layer.
Here is a close-up of my Card to show both!
With the Big Shot die-cutting and embossing machine…
I used Stampin’Up! Layered Leaves Dynamic TIEF for the bottom layer, and I stamped the ‘Lavender’ in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and quickly covered with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool. I colored in the flower and stems with Stampin’ Write Markers: Wild Wasabi, Wisteria Wonder, Perfect Plum, Rich Razzleberry, and Rose Red.
Here is a peek at the inside of my Card!
I used Rich Razzleberry for the inside sentiment from the Suite Sayings Stamp Set. The flower over the sentiment is from the Lots of Lavender Stamp Set! These were stamped, I did not heat emboss the flowers above OR on the envelope!
Here is my Card with it’s stamped to match envelope!
