Hello Folks!
Welcome Back for another Sketch Challenge!
It just happened that I fell into 3 in a row!
Here is Today’s Sketch Challenge
from
CAS Colours & Sketch Challenge #263
CCSC263
I had to take a picture of the sketch, I couldn’t get the links picture to copy…
I could print the picture, but I couldn’t save it to my file. It showed a
blank tile in the file! Oh well, this will have to do!
Here is my take on the Sketch Challenge!
I first cut the DSP to sit angularly across the front of the card…and then I
had a brain moment…I decided to use the cut off corners instead!
Here is the inside of my Card!
For the balloons I used the Emerald Envy for the outline, and then
the Lemon Lime Twist for the solid color!
Here is my Card with a stamped to match envelope!
When I first saw the DSP…those ‘bubbles’ looked like balloons to me…
I decided to go with the balloons for that ‘Birthday Pop’!
(and not the popping of the balloon! LOL!)
Stock and Measures:
Cardstock:
Soft Sky-card base, 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ scored @ 4 1/4 folded in half on the score
Whisper White-inside panel, 4″ X 5 1/4″
Emerald Envy-corner piece mats, greeting, a balloon on front
Lemon Lime Twist- a balloon on front
DSP:
Naturally Eclectic-corner pieces
Stamp Sets:
Balloon Celebration-balloons inside and on envelope
Party With Cake-retired, inside sentiment
Classic Stampin’ Ink Pads:
Emerald Envy-inside sentiment and balloon outlines
Lemon Lime Twist-solid balloons inside and on envelope
Tools:
Big Shot-die cutting machine
Happy Birthday Thinlits-greeting
Balloon Punch-2 balloons on front, popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals
Here is my Card again!
I did use a White Gel Pen to make the ‘shine marks’ on the front balloons!
I do have to say…this looks like a party!
Another Card for my stash…this could either be masculine or feminine!
But, I probably will put it with the masculine cards!
Until the next Post…Blessings and Celebrations to you ALL!
What a lovely birthday card, thanks for playing along with us at CC&S.
Great birthday card. Love the ah ha moment when you figure out the quickest way to do something. Thank you for joining us on this week’s CC&S challenge.
I like the cool color scheme of blues and greens that you’ve used. Thanks for sharing your card with us at CC&S.
