No Challenges Today…just CASE-ing some Cards I saw in a magazine!
(Copy And Share Everything!)
I subscribe to a magazine from the UK named ‘Card Making and Paper Crafts’.
Each month I get the magazine and with the magazine is a ‘freebie’ of sorts!
Sometimes a stamp set, or die-cut, DSP, or all three!
Among the pages are many tips and ideas.
One of the sections in the magazine showcases about 12 Cards (4 per page)
on the back, of a page of 4 cards, are the corresponding lists
to what supplies were used to make the Cards!
(You could cut each one out and the items are listed on the correct backs!)
This last issue, they featured the Coffee Café DSP, from Stampin’Up!
The cards in the UK are 5″ X 5″ square.
Since I do not want to make envelopes to fit them,
I usually translate the cards down to out A2 size.
I Made 5 Cards!
4 of them are similar to what was featured in the magazine.
The 5th Card I made my own version!
Here are my Cards:
I used Early Espresso for the card base. The DSP is Coffee Café. I fussy cut all the coffee elements from the DSP. The heart was cut from cardboard, that comes in DSP packages, and the ran through the Paper Crimper, and then sponged on the edges with Early Espresso ink!
This card is Crumb Cake card base and the banner. The 2 banners across under the large banner are cut from the Coffee Café DSP too! The 2 go cups are on a cut oval, run through a crimper and edges sponged.
Another Crumb Cake base, the DSP is the Woodgrain Textures…I went with a multi-layered banner…I wanted to bring more of the colors from the Coffee Café DSP onto the Card!
Garden Green card base, with Pear Pizzazz layered this up nicely…the heart…I cut out of cardboard and then used my crimper on the hearts and then sponged the edges with Early Espresso.
Pear Pizzazz card base, Early Espresso mat and then the layer of Coffee Café DSP!
The Pot and Cups are cut out from the DSP in the Coffee Café Pack.
I really like these cards!!!
I decided to make more for the 2 year end Craft Sale Booths I will be Vending!
The same 2 Fairs I vended last year!
Maybe 1 more…as I hear of more places to Vend my Cards!
I have to wait till the ads come out looking for Venders!
I pretty much stick with the Community Center here where I live and
the Elks Club…I saw a few Churches in the area that I will look into
for Vending at their Fairs!
Thank you again for stopping by!
Until the next Post…Blessings and Coffee Love to you ALL!
