It is Balloon…For TSOT358 and JUGS430

Welcome!

First let me explain the title…some of you out there will know this, and the younger generation will have no idea what I am talking about!

Do you remember the Comedy Series F Troop?

At one point an air filled balloon passes over the Fort and

the friendly Indians point up and say, in the

broken accent of the day…It is Balloon!

Mr Hubster and I joke about this almost every time we see a balloon of any type!

On to Today’s Card!

I combined a Sketch Challenge with a Word Challenge…

Here is the Word Challenge from JUGS #430

“Balloons”

Here is the Sketch Challenge from TSOT #358

TSOT 358-Flower Power

I had so many ideas for this sketch…all didn’t translate well, from my mind to paper!

Then I SAW the Balloons and those circles looked like balloons to me!

I ran with that…after several tries, I landed this Card!

Here is my Card!

At first I tried to put the words on the card front, but they didn’t look right with the balloons, no matter how many times I tried the sketch, even turning the sketch!

I then had an idea…to put the Wish on the inside of the Card!

Here is the inside of my Card!

Love it!

Of Course, I had to make an envelope to match!!!

  1. This works great with that pattern paper in the back and those stamped balloons. And love that you stamped the inside. Thank you so much for playing along with Just Us Girls this week.

  2. Wow! So far as I’m concerned, you can never have enough balloons, and you prove just that point with this card! So fun, and great use of the inside sentiment, too – totally trying that! Thanks so much for playing at TSOT!

  3. Crushing over all the delightful balloons you created for both your card and envelope! And yes, I have fond memories of F-Troop (and Gilligan’s Island, Hogan’s Heroes…! Guess I’m ‘dating’ myself too! Thrilled that you shared your creativity in the JUGS gallery!
