Welcome!
First let me explain the title…some of you out there will know this, and the younger generation will have no idea what I am talking about!
Do you remember the Comedy Series F Troop?
At one point an air filled balloon passes over the Fort and
the friendly Indians point up and say, in the
broken accent of the day…It is Balloon!
Mr Hubster and I joke about this almost every time we see a balloon of any type!
On to Today’s Card!
I combined a Sketch Challenge with a Word Challenge…
Here is the Word Challenge from JUGS #430
“Balloons”
Here is the Sketch Challenge from TSOT #358
I had so many ideas for this sketch…all didn’t translate well, from my mind to paper!
Then I SAW the Balloons and those circles looked like balloons to me!
I ran with that…after several tries, I landed this Card!
Here is my Card!
At first I tried to put the words on the card front, but they didn’t look right with the balloons, no matter how many times I tried the sketch, even turning the sketch!
I then had an idea…to put the Wish on the inside of the Card!
Here is the inside of my Card!
Love it!
Of Course, I had to make an envelope to match!!!
Overall I am very happy with the turnout!
This is going into my Masculine Card stash…we all need more masculine Cards!
