October Christmas Card Kit!

Hello Friends!

I have Fallen behind this year on getting

my Christmas Cards made for the Holiday’s!

I signed up with another Demonstrator,

to receive monthly kits of 8 Cards!

This is the second kit I received!

I pay and Debbie sends all 8 Cards, pre-cut and ready

to stamp, to follow her visual aid, which Debbie emails to me.

This month featured the new ‘Elfie’ Stamp Set in the

Annual Holiday Catalog!

I didn’t get the ‘Elfie’ stamp set, because I had some die cuts left over

from last year, to use on my Cards!

I will show Debbie’s Lovely Cards

and then my take on her Cards!

Here are the Cards!

Card #1

Debbie’s Card (I had to print them all, off the email!)

So Cute!

My take on Card #1

I took my die cut Santa in Sleigh and cut a piece of the White Bakers Twine to make

reins for the Reindeer pulling his Sleigh! I used the same layout, just different items!

Inside Card #1

I really liked these items from last year! Glad I saved them!

Card #2

Debbie’s Card!

I saw the snowflakes and thought of something different!

My Take on Card #2

I die cut the ‘snowflakes’ from last year’s White Velvet DSP!

I had some left over, just for ‘snowflakes’!

The inside of my Card #2!

A small leftover piece for the inside!

Card #3

Debbie’s Card!

I did like the ‘Elfie’ stamp, but I opted not to get that one, this year.

If it is carried over to the New Annual Catalog in June…then I’ll get it!

My take on Card #3

I chose to center the circles instead of off to the left.

I also chose not to use the ‘yarn like’ ribbon.

It is surely preferential, but I didn’t like the ‘yarn’.

Inside Card #3

   I love this die cut!

Card #4

Debbie’s Card #4

I totally revamped this cardfront to suit my die-cut!

Although I really liked this one!

My take on Card #4!

So glad I got to use this cute Santa!

Inside Card #4

Loved these little Elves!

I have a few more left to use up.

I will use Debbie’s layouts to use them up, to make more Cards!

If you would like to sign up and get Debbie’s Christmas Card Kits…

go to:     http://www.debbiesdesignsblog.blogspot.com

Click on this link…if you can’t then copy and paste into your browser!

I am awaiting the November Kit, she will email me to do PayPal.

Then, she will get the kits prepped to mail out to us

(on a sneak preview, it looks like a couple of the Cards will be made

with the NEW Christmas Rose Suite!)

So, excited!

Until the next Post…Blessings and Christmas Card Making to you ALL!

A Different Color Combo for Fall Cards!

Hello Friends!

As I was going through Pinterest and across the different websites out in Blogland…

…I happen to notice many Cards for Fall/Thanksgiving being made from one of the

pages from Stampin’Up! Fall DSP Come to Gather.

This page has a combination of Soft Seafoam, Pretty Peacock, and Mint Macaron

all on a paper printed with pumpkins, and not orange! So Pretty!

One particular Card I liked was another from fellow Stampin’Up! Demonstrator

Rosanne Mulhern.

Do you remember my Card Class Card? It was based of one of Rosanne’s Cards too!

Here is Rosanne’s Card!

Rosannes Fall Card

Here is my take on Rosanne’s Card!

To make the Card mine…

I used a full cover of the card front with the DSP, my frame is Soft Sea Foam and

sponged with the same color ink, my greeting tag is wider and a different greeting, and I

used Linen Thread in a multi-loop bow instead of White Baker’s Twine!

I also used Pretty Peacock DSP for 2 of the leaves instead of Mint Macaron!

And last but not least, I used the Pretty Peacock Rhinestones in the Pretty Peacock!

Here is the completed inside of my Card!

Bringing all the colors together!

Soft Sea Foam- base, 8.5″ x 5.5″ score@ 4.25″ fold in half on the score

a large scrap piece to cut out the frame, and a small piece of scrap for 2 leaves

Very Vanilla- inside panel, 4″ x 5.25″           1 3/8″ Circle, as a base to adhere leaves

Pretty Peacock- 2 leaves

Mossy Meadow- 1 larger leaf

Come to Gather- front panel, 4″ x 5.25″

Pretty Peacock- greeting and inside sentiment, a few wheat bunches on inside of card and on the envelope

Soft Sea Foam- wheat bunches,  inside and on envelope…to sponge the front frame

Verve-Coffee Helps- greeting

Gather Together- inside sentiment, wheat bunches

Big Shot- die cutting and embossing machine

Rectangle Stitched Dies- frame on front (a larger and one size smaller rectangles, to make the frame)

Gathered Leaves Dies- all the leaves on front

1 3/8″ Circle Punch-  punched a circle to glue leaves down onto, and then to the card!

Noble Peacock Rhinestones- in Pretty Peacock- 3 on front

Linen Thread- multi looped bow

Foam Adhesive Strips- to pop up the frame on front

Stampin’ Dimensionals- 2 stacked together to get height under greeting banner under the leaves,  and to anchor the bottom of the leaves, to the card.

Mini Glue Dots- one under the greeting banner on the frame, one under the top leaf at the frame to hold in place, and several more used under the various leaves to secure together!

Here is my Card with it’s stamped envelope!

Here are the Cards side by side!

                                             My Card!                                   Rosanne’s Card!

Although they are very similar, you can see the differences!

This is what you do when you CASE a Card…change it up a bit, to make it your own!

Again Thanks to Rosanne Mulhern for another Inspiration!
