Ministry Cards #3…!

Hello All!

Welcome Back for a peek

at another batch of Ministry Cards!

The Card bases and envelopes were given to me,

I have added my Stampin’Up! Cardstock and Stamps

to decorate and embellish these Cards!

This batch  is 2 each of 8 colors, making 16 Cards!

Here are the Cards! One of each!

100_7331

These are all 8 Cards together! (I did make 2 of each color!)

All the Cards are stamped with:

Positive Thoughts stamp set-greeting/inside sentiment

Memento Tuxedo Black Ink- greeting/inside sentiment

Time For Tea stamp set-flourishes above and below the oval cut outs

Pear Pizzazz Ink- flourishes on front and inside,

over and under the oval die cuts!

With my Big Shot I die cut the front oval,

With the Layering Ovals Dies,

From each of the colors,

I die-cut the oval/scallop oval frames.

I used the Scallop oval frames on the front.

With the punched out oval from making the frames,

I adhered to the inside of the cards!

For the greeting/sentiment to peek out!

From the leftover pieces from die cutting the oval/scallop oval frames,

with 2 small punches, I punched out many different colored flowers!

With a 1/8″ Circle Punch, I punched out the little black circles for use

as the flower centers and the butterfly’s bodies!

Here are the Parade of Cards!

100_7486

Though Rare…there are Blue Lobsters!

ON ANOTHER NOTE:

This is another one of those Cards from the clippings

I had to CASE!

When I CASE a card, I always try to do one thing different to make it mine!

The ribbon is not the same ribbon the original cardmaker used on her Card!

The stamp set “By The Tide’ is a retired stamp set, from away back.

The ribbon the original cardmaker used is also retired.

The ribbon I used is also retired, but I had it in my stash!

We do what we can, with what we have!

Until the next Post…Blessings and Lobster Love to you ALL!

Under the Sea…for Father’s Day!

Hello All!

I have a folder that has many pictures of cards I want to CASE!

Copy And Share Everything!

I decided to make this a Father’s Day Card!

Mr. Hubster loves to go fishing…he taught me how to fish!

There is a little Pier we can go fishing off, here where we live.

Mr. Hubster will get this Card for Father’s Day!

Here is the Card!

100_7501

There is something magical about a blue and green color combination!

Here is a close up of the front!

100_7495

I used Clear Wink of Stella on the front seahorse, fish, and shell.

This is the best my camera will do to show the shimmer!

Here is the inside of the Card!

100_7499

I had to redo this inside, I tried to use the Clear Wink of Stella on the shell…

…it was a NEW pen, I guess I squeezed to hard to get it flowing… the shell on the

first card, was a glitter blob! It looked horrible…’do over!’

HERE ARE THE STOCK AND MEASURES:

CARDSTOCK:

Garden Green- base, 8.5″ x 5.5″ scored @ 4.25″

horizontal rectangle mat, 2″ x 3″

Pacific Point- front and inside mat panels, 4″ x 5.25″

vertical rectangle mat, 2″ x 3″

Whisper White- front and inside panels, 3.75″ x 5″

horizontal and vertical rectangles, 1.75″ x 2.75″

STAMP SETS:

By The Tide- retired, script, seahorse, fish, coral and shells

Teeny Tiny Wishes- greeting

INKS:

Pacific Point- greeting and inside sentiment, horizontal script, inside shell

Garden Green- vertical script, coral, fish

Pacific Point/Garden Green- using the ‘rock and roll’ method for the seahorse, fish, and front shell

‘ROCK AND ROLL METHOD’-for this card…I tapped my stamp onto the Pacific Point Ink Pad, then in a circular motion, I rolled the stamp around the edges, on the Garden Green Ink Pad. This allows the 2 colors to show up. When I applied the Clear Wink of Stella, it caused the colors to bleed a little and it made both colors show up on the stamped images!

Here is another view of the Card!

100_7500

The fish looks more green, but it does show a good hint of blue too!

Not like the seahorse or shell, but it is there, up close and in person!

Until the next Post…Blessing and Fishing Adventures to you ALL!
